How does it help? You could just clearly establish how much you hate new line...

Ok then. I though you harbored extreme hate for new line. But that's entirely wrong... More favorite characters: Ingwe- We don't have much info on him, but he's high king of the elves. Basically the most high and mighty of all children of Illuvatar that ever were. Awesome. Celebrimbor- He made the rings of power, one of the most skilled artisans of all time. And he didn't go into evil madness like his grandpa he stood his ground and fought against Sauron without kinslaying. Too bad he got killed in his porch and turned into a bannner for Sauron. Plus he didn't go along with his stupid father and stayed in Nargothrond when his dad turned into a jerk. Fingolfin- Perhaps the strongest elf in history. In possession of what I believe to be the best sword in lotr, RINGIL. Ruled all the exiled noldor for quite a few centuries and even stood by Feanor after Feanor threatened to kill him in Aman. Plus he dared to attack the most powerful being in Arda and did quite a nice job. 7 wounds, plus he sliced off Morgoth's foot. Or if it wasn't completely sliced off at least it was paralyzed. That's the rest for now..

Fingolfin: Kind of stereotypical but I adore Finglofin, hero of the Noldor.
Finrod Felagund: Nargothrond was a brilliant idea and he is my third favourite leader.
Melain: Why has no-one mentioned Melian? The Girdle of Melian was really cool, and I just admire Melian for her power and wisdom. Sometimes I get the idea that she was ruling behind the scenes.
That's all for now(there are many more), must go eat dinner. Sorry they're so short but I have to rush. Incidentally, Silmarillion was my favourite book.

I liked Meadhros, but then he had to go and take that idiotic oath (oo, I like that ;D)...
But I also really liked Huan. And then there's Beren, and Luthien. There were a lot of characters to choose from.

I liked Maedhros too, but Maglor was better. He was a great singer and poet, he struck a blow for all bards at the Nirnaeth Arnoediad by killing Uldor the Accursed, he brought up Elros and Elrond, and he always wanted to repent...

Yup, Maglor was the best son of Feanor. (in my opinion) But I also like Feanor well. Even with the oath and the kinslaying and whatnot. Huan yes Huan! Talking dog, killed the greatest wolf ever in middle earth and could catch arrows in his teeth. Brilliant.

Varda is pretty cool. She made the stars, and one need only mention her name to make orcs recoil. I wonder why her name is so powerful to them... Why not Manwe or Eru or Illuvatar?
