i hate the lord of the rings. its boring, dramatic, and the movies r way to long. they r only long so that they can sqeeze in every little detail from the book into the movie, so that when people go see it, they think, hey this is like the movie. its so stupid, and i'm glad its over.

lotr isn't boring. maybe if you actually read the books and watched the movies, you just might be able to comprehend what's going on and actually enjoy them. and, they DIDN'T squeeze every little detail into the films. they cut out a TON of things.

Sam is quite right. They cut out much too much. I find the movies too short, and the books beautifully detailed.

yeah, and luckily they made the extended edition. but, now that i think of it, there's still a ton of stuff that was cut out. like Tom Bombadil, for example. and yes, i agree with you on the books bit.

they r only long so that they can sqeeze in every little detail from the book into the movie, so that when people go see it, they think, hey this is like the movie. They go to see the movie, then think, "This is like the movie"? Well, that makes sense... usually the movie is like the movie.
