That's a good question wizards rule! They shaped middle earth in the beginning of time and all. And they're the assistants of the supreme rulers of Arda(middle earth, blessed realm, and seas and all of that good stuff)

Yes! For me, I always want to be a wizard. On another message board the master even gave me a special rank because of it: Resident Wizard.

M: I not only WANT to be a wizard, but pretended I was for 2 and a half years. Not when I was 3, but when I was 9.

This is so unfair... I feel so weird, because like NO ONE, even lotr people has read silmarillion and I have, and I know so much from it, and no one would understand. <Sigh>I skipped the very beginning part at first becaues it was so boring. But then I went back and read it like I always do, I seem to always skip beginning prolougues only to go back and read them. What about wizards?? ok, question i'm not quite sure if wizard is the actual name of the race, if it is, then yeah, if not then what is it? i should read it... but i've read leaf by niggle, that was a good story...

Alright then. The proper name for the wizard race is maia. They're sort of gods, only less powerful and servants to the powerful rulers of Arda(middle earth the sea and blessed realm combined) called the valar. Recognize the word valar from the movies?

Yep u should. I know one other person on 667 who's read it. I forget who but they said they'd just read it. Well they say the word valar sometimes in the movies. One of the scenes in ttt has valar in it and all that. Here's a gandalf quote from rotk "And now come the days of the king. May they be blessed while the thrones of the valar endure." I'm stopping now. I feel so geeky...
