The anticipation overwhelmed me, so I was compelled to make a movie thread...
I CAN'T WAIT TILL THURSDAY.. well friday for me, I don't think I'll be able to make Thursday.
I hope ROTK gets the eluding 1 billion ticket sales mark. That'd be superlative.

Thursday? It comes out Wednesday here.. I'm going to see it then. I wanted to dress up but I might be going straight to the theatre from school. Oh well, I have a blue blanket that looks like Arwen's cloak so maybe I'll wear that.
I'm excited to go view it. I want some Aragorn/Arwen wedding scenes, I have a slight obsession with them. ;D

*cries*
It's not my fault I don't like it-I'm reading the books soon and I'll probably like them. I like long books.

I JUST SAW IT! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! That was way better than the 1st 2, and more true 2 the books. But they cut out Grima and Saruman completely!! I cried. I always cry in movies.

The books lol.. I wasn't able to get through them. They were too boring! I read bits and pieces of them though.. just the intresting stuff. I saw it today.. I dunno, I liked it, I guess I'm just not being too enthusiastic today. But yay go movies!

Ahh Legolas.. I was going to count his lines but I didn't, I know he had less than ten. But that thing with the elephant was wicked awesome. He always has to do something great like in TTT where he used the shield as a skateboard..
In the book I mostly flipped through to Aragorn/Arwen scenes.. and I read the end of ROTK. I've also read the begining of the Hobbit. so I'm like almost a third of the way there.

Fife..............why do I feel a suddenly overwhelming hatred for you You had better hurry up and get online so I can talk to you about it!!! well i would IF YOU WERE THERE!!!!!!! and they really didn't show anything between faramir and eowyn. i wish they had put that in. i liked that. i loved how they ended the movie with just sam saying his last line and the door. i didn't like the credits though. i'm use to having it just black. i liked that. instead, they had that parchement stuff with the actors on it. not bad, but....... whatever.

fife, didn't you love the part where sam finds frodo in the tower? i was praying that they'd put him in there completly, but, alas, o well. omg, i saw it on opening night. i cried 3 times. 1. when frodo tells sam to go home *still makes me cry- i seriously have a lump in my throat now thinking about it* 2. When all the people bow down to the hobbits in minas tirith 3. when frodo goes on the ship *in the agony of the hobbits* my mom cried like all the way thru... she didnt want aragorn to marry arwen *shes a viggo shipper* i thought the green glowing dead could have been fixed, and the part where frodo wakes up cut out. could have used the 5 mins for the faramir/eowyn stuff (im glad she got over aragorn) did anyone else think that the way frodo fell when the eye of sauron came upon him was hilarious? i laughed for like 5 mins! my favorite parts were the frodo/sam journey. seeing it again on saturday. taking like 4 friends because they havnt seen it yet. they BEGGED me for info, esp. my friend who loves orlando. she didn't like that i said legolas has like the smallest part in the movie (i swear denethor has a bigger part that him) still, overall it rocked!!!!! in the theatre, i was reading my rotk book, desperatly tring to get to the part where frodo gets his finger cut off (i didn't remember reading it the 1st time)i got to it when the lights went down. i loved it how they showed it all bloody and bitten. anyway. ROTK ROX!!!! fife, lij is all mine!!!

girl, you are gonna have to wrestle me to the ground for him! ok you know in the books how frodo was naked in the tower? i was kinda hoping for a loincloth but i can deal with no shirt. the poor guy. he was really cut up. frodo and sam's scenes were so honest and sweet, it hurt. or when pippin had to leave merry? "you're coming with us, aren't you merry?" that was sad. oh my goodness. i think i'm seeing it tomorrow with any luck.
