The mention of poison darts in tpp.....? Olaf an orfan? the baudelaire parents? kit snicket? I wonder if this has anything to do eith olafs parents dying? Like did kit snicket help the baudelaire parents kill olafs parents? ie the vfd vertically fastened door...baudelaires alergic to pepperments. "poysin "as olaf would spell, darts leave olaf an orfan. i alredy knew about the pepermint alergy.hmm why else would vfd use OLAF'S past ? answers please ASAP.

Well, yes, that's the obvious conclusion to the facts presented. Dewey's reaction to Olaf's allusion to the poison darts indicates that he isn't lying. So we're presented with an apparent sequence of events in which the Baudelaire parents colluded with Kit to murder Olaf's parents. This has been commented on in detail in past threads. And there's no obvious logic to why those three particular answers - the Baudelaire allergy, the weapon that orphaned Olaf, and Richard Wright's famous unfathomable question - would have been chosen by Dewey for use on a Vernacularly Fastened Door, except that probably only someone with access to the catalogue of evidence could research all the answers.
