Anyone Else Have An Irrational Hatred For Fiona?

I do.

I really dislike the character. And it's not because of her crush on Klaus (ha). Trust me, I partially ship Isadora/Klaus, and that's not the reason either. I just don't really like her. She annoyed me throughout the book.

Quite a number of people disliked her. I personally thought she made TGG more interesting, because of her betrayal and her long-lost brother and the decisions she had to make, but I think I was a little dissapointed when she joined Olaf's troupe. She made up for it by helping the Baudelaires escape, though.

She's one of my favourite characters. I think she has a fascinating backstory and interesting eccentricities, and TGG would be much worse off without the moral decisions she provokes. Any lack of sympathy for her I think should be mollified by the way the Baudelaires planned to do to her exactly what she did to them, betrayed them for family - and she let them escape anyway! And, admirably, after TGG she and Fernald left Olaf's troupe and rejoined the better side of V.F.D. I find it regrettable that she seems to have a somewhat vociferous hatedom.

Edit: And now that I think about it, this should go in CCharacters.

I hated her for years until recently. Now I'm warming up to the Klaus/Fiona pairing.

I really don't like Fiona either. I think she's pretty lame, and does not deserve Klaus. That's why I came up with a new original character in my ficverse to ship him with, Cindry Fulfillment.

Fiona is kind of boring, but she DOES make TGG more exciting with her betraying self. But she likes Fungi. I think Isadora and Klaus are cuter, because she's very clever, so is he, they both like to read, they are both orphans, they just get along better because they have more in common.

I think Fiona is orphan too, his mother is dead and his father is propably dead too. This is my opinion ^^. But I'm prefere ''Kladora'' too

Meh, I wish she would've been in more than one book. We only see her in TGG, and while she's in it for a good while, I just wish we would've gotten more of a look at her and Fernald's relationship after the events of the eleventh book. The same goes to Hector and Duncan and Isadora (well, the Quagmires were in more than one book, but aside from TAA, it was very brief).

I've never really like her. Yes, she made TGG interesting but still, she doesn't deserve Klaus. I, like others apparently, am a Klaudora fan all the way. Her betrail was a major blow to any opinion I might have had for her ealier in the book.
