"I am quite fond of Stairway to Heaven," said Klaus. "I never really considered Led Zeppelin to be a heavy metal band, though."
"I like Whole Lotta Love," said Isadora. "I never heard of anyone who's cried to Over the Hills and Far Away."

"None of Led Zeppelin's songs have ever made me cry, either," Esmé said. "Though I can't say the same for Yesterday by the Beatles."
Jerome held his wife closer as he clarified. "It's because it's so reminiscent of our separation. It makes both of us cry every time we hear it."
"Jerome's younger brother is a big fan of Led Zeppelin," Esmé explained to the group. Like her husband she, too, wanted to avoid treading through unwanted waters.

"I guess that means my counterpart in your universe doesn't cry to Over the Hills and Far Away, then," replied Quigley. "Although, in our universe, your counterparts are also quite fond of Stairway to Heaven. Personally, though, I never cared for that song. I hate people telling me that I have to like that song. It makes me dislike it, all the more."
"The Klaus from our world cries to Yesterday," added Violet, "as well as Let It Be. He's quite big on The Beatles. He's probably the least into Led Zeppelin, though, of our group."
"How can anyone not like Led Zeppelin?" asked Emily.

"I actually like Led Zeppelin a lot," said Klaus. "Much like Robert Plant, I am a huge fan of Welsh folklore."
"I've never heard or seen your counterpart cry to Over the Hills and Far Away," Isadora said. "Although, I can't say if you do or not in private. I usually don't even bother listening to Yesterday. The melody itself is depressing."

"Jerome is quite the Beatles fan himself," Esmé said, and turned to her husband. "Aren't you, honey?"
"Yes. They're my favorite band, tied with Simon and Garfunkel, of course."
"Though I do like soft rock," Esmé went on, "my tastes in music lean more toward pop - '80s in particular. Jerome tolerates it just to be polite, though I do enjoy his music."
"I don't tolerate it," he said defensively. "I liked that one song by Cyndi Lauper that came on the radio the other day."
"Oh, yeah?" Esmé smirked. "Which song was it?"
"Uhhh..." Jerome bit down on his lower lip, deep in thought.
Esmé giggled, then turned back to the others. "You see? What did I tell you?"
The billionaire blushed, before throwing his hands over his face in embarrassment.

Fiona said, "I think Led Zepplin is good, even though it's before my time, as I was born in 1992. My favorite song by them is "Stairway to Heaven", mainly because its variations. I am also a fan of Radiohead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wilco, Pearl Jam, U2, and Hootie and the Blowfish."

"You and my brother would get along splendidly, I'm sure," Jerome said with a smile. "He's a pretty big fan of Pearl Jam and U2. In fact, I think our parents still have several of his old t-shirts."
"Jerome never wore t-shirts," Esmé informed the group. "Even when he was a little boy, all he wanted to wear were dress shirts and ties."

Fiona replied to Esme, "I wear jeans, t-shirts, and low top Converses all the time to school, except in middle school, where I went to that strict Catholic school, and freshman and sophmore year of high school, when I was home schooled via private tutor."

"My brothers and I have always been the jeans and t-shirt type of people," Isadora said. "I don't think I've ever seen Klaus wear anything other than that blue sweater."
"I have many blue sweaters," said Klaus. "I don't get hot very easily, so I wear them in the summer too."

Fiona said to Klaus, "My brother's the opposite. He gets warm really easily, so he likes to wear sleeveless t-shirts that have the huge armholes. One day, he was wearing a short sleeved t-shirt. It felt too warm to him, so he ripped off the sleeves with his bionic hands."

"I've never known our Klaus to be the tee-shirt type, either," added Violet. "He always was the type to prefer suits. On the other hand, though - I like to dress more casually."
"I like wearing jeans and a denim jacket," commented Quigley. Pointing to his torso, he added, "I also like wearing my reddish-orange vest. Some have said that it looks like a life preserver, but I don't really care."

Esmé said to Fiona, "The only time I was forced to wear a uniform was when I attended the V.F.D. Training School. But when we weren't in class, we were allowed to dress however we wanted - just as long as it was appropriate. I grew up in the '80s, and so my style consisted of t-shirts, torn jeans, and leggings. But I always liked wearing dresses and skirts, too."
"I was always forced to wear a uniform to school," Jerome said, "all the way from kindergarten up until graduating high school. Even when I didn't attend classes, my personal style reflected that of a businessman."
Esmé replied to Klaus, "I don't get hot very easily, either. In fact, some say that I was born cold-blooded, on account I get cold so often. In fact, whenever I go to the grocery store, I always have to make sure to take along a sweater. Otherwise, I'll start shivering uncontrollably every time I go down the frozen isle."
Jerome said to Quigley, "I've never been one to follow the crowd, either. I never understood why my peers rejected me when I told them I preferred cooking over watching sports, or why I never wanted to join any teams."

"Playing sports is one of the reasons why I've always hated gym," Klaus said. "Another reason I hate gym is because they make me wear shorts. I always feel so naked when I wear them. It's also the only class I've ever gotten a B in. My teacher tells me that he gives me a B because I never sweat. He thinks I'm not trying, but I can't help it if I never sweat."
"The only time I've ever had to wear uniforms was when I went to Prufrock," said Isadora. "I went to a public school for grade school and junior high, but there was still a dress code. The girls were only allowed to wear dresses and skirts, while the boys weren't allowed to wear jeans, t-shirts, or tennis shoes. The high school I go to now has no dress code."

"Both Esmé and I did poorly in gym class as well," Jerome said to Klaus. "I was never the athletic type, while she-"
"-was always terrified I'd break a nail!" Esmé finished. She burst into an array of girlish giggles, which made her appear younger than she was. "And you never sweat, Klaus? Really? I must admit, I'm a bit jealous of you. That was always the one thing I hated most about gym class. Especially when I was having a really good hair day, only to have all the physical activity ruin it for me."
"Uniforms was one of the main reasons I was so happy to have graduated high school," Jerome said to Isadora. "Because I was no longer burdened with the nightly worry of making sure my blazer was clean and that my shirts were ironed for the following day."

Fiona said, "I did fine in gym. Seventy percent of the grade came from participation at my old high school. We had to wear gym uniforms at my old high school. For both guys and girls, we wore green and white basketball shorts, white t-shirts with the school logo in green, and whatever tennis shoes and socks we want. We had to take at least one term of gym class all four years. One gym class only lasted a term, which is 9 weeks, since we had it every day in the term for 85 minutes."
