It would be really interesting to know about the characters' hobbies in your ficverses. In my ficverse: Violet: inventing, of course! She also loves swimming and listening to music Klaus: loves reading and dancing. Sunny: cooking and singing. Count Olaf: burning houses, drinking wine, playing a guitar and singing.

I saw this the other day and wanted to post something, but didn't get around to it. I only have a few characters so far, but figured I'd add my part anyway. Jerome: As a child he received an Easy-Bake Oven from his mother as a birthday gift one year (unfortunately, it was confiscated by his father, who believed cooking to be an effeminate hobby ). Needless to say, Jerome persued his hobby in the kitchen with his mother, who taught him the wonders of cupcake-making. When he entered middle and high school, he became the top student - and only boy - in his home-economics class. He can cook most anything, but cupcakes are his specialty. He likes to make them for his friends, and even presented one to Esme on their first date. ^^ Jerome also loves reading and writing, and collecting neckties. Carmelita: Enjoys cooking, and was influenced by Jerome after he and Esme become her legal guardians. Following high school, she attended cooking school that eventually landed her a job as one of the top chefs at Cafe Salmonella.

I think we already know what the hobbies for the Baudelaires and Quagmires would be. Violet = inventing Klaus = reading Sunny = cooking (I don't think she would still bite things, when she gets older.) Quigley = drawing maps Duncan = taking notes on current events Isadora = writing couplets In my ficverse, all of them also like listening to music. The younger Beatrice does have some pet bats - but I haven't yet decided whether or not she trains them, like the elder Beatrice did. I tend to focus more on her love of heavy metal.

I dunno, but sometimes I picture Klaus as having a knack for skateboarding besides reading.

@very Funky Disco: A baby...that likes heavy metal. Ok. She'll grow up to be deaf the poor thing. lol
Also Klaus skateboarding? Really? I personally don't see it happening.
Just my opinion, don't wanna be rude or anything.

Jennifer: swimming, skiing, playing a guitar and writing poems Jane: painting and acting. She is more patient and quiet than her sister. Fernald: swimming, snowboarding, playing a guitar. You see Fernald and Jennifer have got a lot of common hobbies and this is one of reasons why they fell in love.

Jane Rumary (My OC, Klaus' age, her parents died when she was very young and she lived at a boarding school for most of her life): Acting, singing, dancing, tennis, jogging, writing, playing the piano and guitar, reading for leisure, listening to music. Violet: Inventing, drawing, tennis, hair styling (braids, buns, etc...) Sunny: Cooking, singing, traveling (Paris or Italy or another European country). Melissa Sampson (another OC): singing, playing the guitar, listening to rock songs, Green Day, Avril Lavigne, etc..., photographry, sewing, fashion design (so she customizes a lot of her outfits). In my mind, Esmé is actually a lot more of a reader than she would let on, and actually treats the study of fashion and trends throughout history as a proper intellectual study. She’s also very musical, and she can actually sing beautifully, despite what Lemony said. However, what he said about her dancing is true: she has no problem dancing at balls and parties, but she is useless when she has to learn an entire choreographed dance.
