Hmm. Well, nonetheless I love him! I think he was spot on for Olaf, and did very well in that role! But everyone can have different opinions! That's what makes things interesting!

I think he made the perfect Count Olaf. I really loved him in that role.

Jim Kerry lovers have taken no offence. Jim Carrey's lovers, however, are outraged.

Jim Carrey, Jim Carry, Jim Kerry, Tim Carry... You're sure you all know who you're talking about?

I still don't know how John Kerry pulled off playing Count Olaf in the film when he was meant to be running for president at the time.

If I was evil I would say that there is no difference between being the president and being Count Olaf. But I'm not evil, so I won't say that.

To be brutally honest, I thought he was an awful choice for Olaf. For any kind of "dark" villain, indeed. I don't think he's a bad actor at all, but just in a role so very far from what he's good at. Still, I really wasn't happy with most things in the movie.

I think that I like him in some things that he's done, like The Mask, but then in other things I don't.

Still, I really wasn't happy with most things in the movie. I agrees completely... about everything you just said. Everything. I mean, they should have picked someone scary. Count Olaf is a difficult role to play anyway. No, the movie was lacking in many things. I like to imagine it as a parody of the books, made by a low budget company, of whom only one person had read the books.
