A site with a lot of rare (and not so rare) documents relating to Lemony Snicket all in one place. There's lots of: Vile Videos, Mournful Music, Illustrations by Mr. Helquist (including Perilous Paperback illustrations), Woeful Writings by Mr. Snicket (quite a few; these are particularly interesting), VFD, news on 'All The Wrong Questions', Photographs of Mr. Snicket, Quotes, etc. You can choose each of the categories when clicking ABOUT at the top of the page.DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE: The Snicket File.

I really like that site; you've clearly been a fan for some time. What I particularly enjoy is that it's not just a regurgitation of quotes and illustrations from the series, but a balance between that and Handler's exploits (and V.F.D.-esque quotes from other novels and poems) all displayed through a variety of media.

Thanks! That's a perfect review of the site and what I am going for with it. I'm always very interested in the influences of my favourite artists (whether it's litarature, music, film or painting), as well as their minor/lesser known efforts (like the many prefaces, introductions to other novels, or essays on poetry and writing that Mr. Handler and Mr. Snicket have written). I also avoid including anything about the movie adaptation [one or two exceptions] in this blog, which is quite a bit different from the fictional universe (and the action) presented in the books. Basically, I try to run a blog that, dare I say, Mr. Snicket himself might be running if he had one.
