Yeah, I've noticed that you keep posting this. Why on Earth do you want that?

What?! Countess, are you leaving the boards? You need to stay! Is it something we did? Is this because of BSam's little joke and my laughing? Because that meant no offense, we really do like you. I'm really sorry if I did anything to hurt you. And I don't see how any award you win would be taken away from you- you deserve every nomination you got. I really hope you stay.

She's talking about the 2011 member of the year Award.
Hermedy is still being a dick and withholding his explanation on whatever he's doing, by announcing a different winner.

I guess your best bet is to confront Hermedy then, make him talk.

Awww FD you're so nice. It's nothing like that. I know you and BSam were only joking and I'm crazy about both of you as well as Brunch and Beth and Emma and a ton of other people on here. When you ask a person like that - it makes it so very hard to go. I guess for now I'll just have to see what happens ok? It's nice to still feel needed tho. I'm glad you decided to stick around . The whole Member Of The Year thing confused me too.

It doesn't really matter though because not only does a very deserving person have it but with everyone being so wonderful and supportive, I feel like I won anyways. This is, by far, one of the most beautiful and mature things I've ever read, truly. You are indeed a winner, Countess. Winners echo the sentiments of kindness and consideration, and those are things you've bestowed upon everyone here. There have been multiple winners in the past for Member of the Month, after all. There's no reason why things should differ for Member of the Year. You and Hermes have brought so much to 667 Dark Avenue, and both deserve to stand together in the spotlight. I am so, so glad you've decided to stay. <3 <3 <3

The whole point is, is that its hard to say, but one thing for sure is that if they were going to overturn it and give it to a member that had contributed more, I wish it had been done months ago. Also, it could have been done a little nicer. To the members of 667: Yes, Countess Violet is absolutely right. This should have been done 'nicer': I sincerely apologize to you all for not catching the treachery in the Member of the Year voting back in January. I only registered the red flags recently, and only gathered the solid evidence I needed to be sure this week. I am sorry that I was slow to serve justice, but what matters is that the rightful winner has finally been recognized. To Hermes: Congratulations once again. Your ascent into the 667 Hall of Fame is well deserved, and I regret that your victory has been temporarily marred with this despicable deception. To the Moderators (especially Dante and Songbird): Thank you for your advice, your vigilance and your help in collecting evidence. Countess Violet: I made a thread announcing that Hermes is the Member of the Year. I did not mention you, or reveal the truth to 667. That was an act of mercy. I hoped that you would quietly accept that you'd been caught, and we could all move on and enjoy the Darkies. I was happy to let this incident slide out of clemency and pity and because clearly, the respect of this community means a lot to you. I did not mention that you attempted to cheat the members of the forum but you have called me out and left me no choice but to defend a decision that was not really a decision at all - it was simply justice. There was no ambiguity in what needed to be done. You have wasted my time by publicly questioning my decision - a decision that is not only fair, but lenient. You have also robbed me of the opportunity to do a kind act in letting you off. I have done my job, and now it's your turn. I advise you to either own up to your misdeeds and try to earn back the trust of your friends here, or leave this forum. I don't care which one you choose. But if you insist on drawing out this pretense and your "woe is me" act, it brings my no pleasure to tell you that the really nasty stuff will have to come out. Maybe you should apologize to the members (notably the distinguished Sherry Ann and the honorable Hermes) that you nearly stole an award from. In the mean time, I encourage kind members like Emma Squalor and F.D. to continue to humor your farce if it's making you feel better about yourself. I'm willing to never speak of this matter again, because it's a shame that such a good member did something so disrespectful to her fellow members. Next time, don't poke the sleeping dragon. Next time someone graciously gives you a free pass, don't question it. Take it and run. Next time, don't try to paint the person who is showing you mercy as the bad guy. Next time, don't try to cheat a community that has been nothing but kind and welcoming to you.

I didn't think it was a coincidence that, on the same day the Member of the Year award was transferred, Draven and Sorsha and all their posts suddenly vanished. But I think it's rather sad that the Member of the Year award apparently wasn't enough. It's one thing to register a group of dummy accounts to pump up your poll numbers to far beyond what was necessary to win, but it's quite another to start operating those accounts as though they are actual individual people. But, Countess Violet, was it really necessary to have more puppeteered voices constantly on the go nominating you for more awards? Fighting your battles for you? Inevitably, one suspects, once again providing more fraudulent votes for yourself in polls for forum awards? It's not as if you weren't liked. You became a Member of the Month fair and square. Many people were nominating you for Darkies awards. Is a forum award really so important to you that you were prepared to not just create false accounts to vote for you, but to play-act as them in public? To lie directly to the people who showed you respect and friendship? I'm looking at the kind words of the likes of F.D. and Emma here, and the others who've done so much to make you feel welcome. Was it really the right thing to do to repay that friendship by claiming you had no idea why the Member of the Year award had been taken from you, even while you'd been painstakingly deleting the evidence? I think it's very sad. We could have forgiven an enthusiastic new member padding her poll numbers, if it had ended there. But it didn't end there. It ends here, with you lying to your friends to romanticise yourself. And it makes me wonder if you ever really thought they were your friends, if you had to create fake friends to speak up for you rather than trusting in the people who liked you. And while, like Hermedy, I would be happy to never speak of this again, I thought that the people you tricked deserved an explanation - deserved to understand that you weren't the victim; they were.
