This is the fanfic that I told you guys in my greeting page. This is about Samantha, one of the American Girls, who is recruited in the V.F.D. She and her friend/adoptive sister tries to save their beloved family members from the hands of the V.F.D villains. Anyway, the name of the fortune in the story is the Parkington fortune. For anybody who wants to know about American Girl, check here. www.americangirl.com/index.phpWait for clues!

As crossovers go, this one seems pretty relevant. Interesting.

I am somewhat familiar with the American Girl enterprise, as it was required reading in elementary school. Interesting idea for a crossover, and I look forward to reading it.
(Edit: Is it ironic that the word "it" as used in this post is considered an orphan by typesetting standards?)

Dear Editor,
Walk to the house on -the writing was illegible- , New York. There, on the west end of the charred building, you will find a fireproof chest, which you are to open at the historical, almost demolished house of Mike O'Malley, in 18th Street, which is now the-the writing was illegible- Restaurant. Ask an old woman with a black dress to hand the case files of the burning of the house of Mr. and Mrs. Edwards. You will get my story, entitled Samantha Parkington, V.F.D Member. I hope you are safe from any nasty teenagers, poisoned peppermint ice cream, and a shotgun.
With all due respect, Tryina Denouement.

I always like a fanfic to have the full paratextual works; Editor letters are great fun, especially if you have a scanner and can make a physical copy.

Very nice teasers; it'll be interesting to see what they signify in the story. It's nice having visual artifacts like this; we've clearly been quite strongly influenced by Snicket in this regard.

Excuse me, I just wanna ask, how to make a link like the one in Tiago Squalor's YASOUE?I wanna make an index of the trilogy someday, when it's done. Anyway, thanks, and it was a lot of work modifying the post just to make sure the pictures appear like what it is! Post Script: Can you guess who is L.S?

Excuse me, I just wanna ask, how to make a link like the one in Tiago Squalor's YASOUE?I wanna make an index of the trilogy someday, when it's done. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean covering a URL with words? If so, what you want would be something like this: Samantha Parkington, your text here If it's something else, though, ask in Foreboding Feedback; there's plenty of helpful material there. As a guideline, though, if there's ever something you want to know how to do, click the Quote button on the post to see the coding involved.

Great stuff! I like the line about the dress code best, I think. I'm supposing L.S. is the L.S., simply because I have no guesses as to who else it could be. As far as questions concerning coding go, I would strongly recommend browsing through the ProBoard help guide, as it answers a number of inquiries you've presented. But for the online/offline statuses - I take it one has to be actively browsing through the boards for the records to indicate one is online, so it can appear as though a member is fluctuating between the two.
