epershand, cross-referencing your work with Hermes's and mine then I think you have all the letters. There is a difference to my letter set, but I think you're right. This invalidates some of the words I'd managed to squeeze out of the anagram, but by no means all. I'll discuss it in my spoiler below: You had an extra I that I didn't, possibly from the Billiard Room. I'd subsituted for the "possibly coded K." from the first Vernacularly Fastened Door, but there's also the P on the necklace in the photograph. But not many of the words I'd gotten from the anagram used a K anyway, so I'm still stuck there. Q.R.V., if you're reading this, it'd be nice if you could verify which set of letters is correct, since there seems to be some ambiguity - or at least, since I'm going to start using epershand's set, to correct us if we're going wrong. Tryina, is it the questions on the second Vernacularly Fastened Door you're having trouble with? I thought they were kind of easy. Please use spoilers to tell us what you're having trouble with. Anka, what about the piano isn't working? Are you having difficulty figuring out what music title you're meant to be entering? I had intense difficulty on that and ended up leafing through a huge list of available player piano rolls because I didn't recognise the tune at all.

The piano doesn't work Do you mean the video isn't playing? If so, do you have flash player installed? (Do YouTube videos work for you?) Or do you mean that when you enter the title in the URL bar, it can't find the page? Q.R.V., if you're reading this, it'd be nice if you could verify which set of letters is correct, since there seems to be some ambiguity - or at least, since I'm going to start using epershand's set, to correct us if we're going wrong. epershand's list is correct. The P and K Dante mentions are unintentionally misleading; I hadn't realized the necklace looks like a P until he pointed it out, and the K is just short for the Köchel catalog.
The letter blanks in the anagram book do accurately describe the solution; there should be four words, one with six letters, one with four letters, and two with seven letters. As in the book, the 6-letter word should come first and the 4-letter word second, but since the order of the 7-letter words is ambiguous, either order is accepted as an answer.
The map, if you've found it, contains a clue to the solution of the anagram. See page 267 of TCC. Are you having difficulty figuring out what music title you're meant to be entering? I had intense difficulty on that and ended up leafing through a huge list of available player piano rolls because I didn't recognise the tune at all. Wow, I didn't intend the piano to be so difficult. I thought people would follow the clue of "Well, young lady, have you been good to your mother?" If you trace this quote back to its original source (see page 163 in TUA), you are given the song title.

I wouldn't have plugged for the K or the P if I hadn't been otherwise missing a letter - and like I said, I imagine I was simply overlooking the I in the Billiard Room. However, it should be noted that, on my screen resolution at least, the anagram slots in the book appear to end not in a seven-letter word, but a five-letter and two-letter word! Game over. Incredible job, Q.R.V.

But the VFDoor leads!!!!! Grrr....
And how to get around at least? I've got the map, but I don't have any idea precisely what to do.

Normally youtube videos work, except those who aren't available in Germany because of the copyright.

You could try ProxMate if you're using Firefox, Anka. When something is regionally restricted it unblocks it automatically (on any website, YouTube as well). Google "proxmate firefox add on" and install it if you'd like to.

I've tried messing around with the privacy settings. Does it work now?
I don't know that much about country copyrights. My experience has been that if a file created in the U.S. works in one country outside the U.S. (as it apparently does in the U.K.), then it works in all countries outside the U.S. But I haven't spent much time in Germany, so it could be different there.

OK, after solving the anagram I went back and solved the boxes as well. So now I think I have everything, though there may be some things I have still missed, Splendid work, Q.R.V.!

Trying to solve the anagram right now... Does the stain on the left of the map mean anything? 'Cause I dunno what that one would indicate :/

Yep, I got that one. I'm assuming that's the only one that matters then? Back to guessing the anagram~ EDIT: Just finished. That was pretty great.
