What if we did an exquisite corpse poem, with 43 lines? It might be a bit difficult to, um, track. Though with the spoiler tags it could work.

I don't know about the poem. Some of us don't quite have their way with words, especially in poem form. And with Q.R.V.'s idea, people more talented in the visual arts could join too.

Maybe this could form our own version of the Snicketmail teasers - 43 wrong questions, each accompanied by a cryptic illustration? A thousand times yes.

A good idea though the poem is (an exquisite corpse was what I had in mind), I think that we may have moved away from it. Perhaps next year? They may run another set of Snicketmail stanzas, and it would be a little easier to imitate those for a poem with a number of lines that's actually divisible by four.

What then do you suggest?

Why do you think we moved away from the poem idea, Dante? I think the idea with an illustration or sketch on graph paper every forth line would also be a good idea... We could turn the last stanza being only three lines to our advantage, say like indicating that the last line was cut off, or maybe just reference itself--if one is to be creative, this 'hurdle' should not be a problem.

The last line could be ... Who could that be at this hour?

Perhaps we should make a poll? And ask people if they would prefer to go with the poem or Q.R.V.'s idea.

I see the most support for Q.R.V.'s idea, but if several people are set on doing a poem, we can poll it. Save for Sophie, are there any such supporters?

I'm really just happy to go with whatever, to be honest, but I probably prefer QRV's idea.

I like QRV's idea, too.

Now I see how most seem to prefer QRV's proposal. This was not visible before. I like both choices pretty much equally. Maybe we should make a poll though. But like I said, I'm fine with both.

That's four in favor and none who oppose. As I understand it, then, the idea is to compile 43 questions and accompany each (or some) with cryptic, Seth-esque illustrations. Does this rough template match what most people were envisioning? Where the "buzzing" serves as the question placeholder, of course, and the illustration takes place of an original creation.

I think that was our idea of it, yeah. It'd be better if the illustrations are made after the questions, to see which question would make for a good illustration.
