I sometimes scream when I remember bad things, in addition to my Asperger's.

When I remember bad things, I say words totally out of context. Always the same words for some time, and after a while it changes to something else.
Also when I was a child I couldn't sleep almost every night because I was very scared. Sometimes I still have it now. I don't know what that is.
And I feel strange because my whole self-harming stuff started at a much later age than most people's.

Your lack of sleep probably has something to do with anxiety.
When I remember bad things...I wince.

Becca, you said you read a lot about mental disorders, do you know what that thing is called where people always want to be ill or injured or have mental disorders, but feel like it doesn't count when they do things to themselves on purpose?

um not really..it sort of sounds like depression but i'm pretty sure that people that suffer from depression feel satisfied when they injure themselves

Hmm, okay. Maybe it doesn't exist yet. They should call it Anka syndrome.

do you know what that thing is called where people always want to be ill or injured or have mental disorders, but feel like it doesn't count when they do things to themselves on purpose? Are you talking about something similar to Münchausen Syndrome? A person would have a strange urge to be sick, and feign illness (or in some cases, actually make themselves ill) in order to gain attention/reassurance, or gain a feeling of self-satisfaction that they are 'one of those people' that have disorders.

I don't know if it's something like that. I don't want attention or something, but the rest sounds like that.
