Oh god. Just why. I want Tragedy to spend a solid ten hours tonight changing options so the forum looks pretty, and works nicely. Goddamit.

I could get used to this, actually, it's pretty okay. The banner, bright profile stars and chunky font are complete pish though.

You get a notification when someone quotes you. Weird.

You get a notification when someone quotes you. Weird. You can change that in the edit profile thing somewhere.

Do not agree with Bee rarely. Yes, I will have to get used to it, but I don't want to.

I've given this its own thread. And discovered how to do so. Questions, comments, and complaints about the v5 update should continue here.

I would recommend that everyone look through all of the options in their profile to set things like notifications and privacy options to their liking. As to the actual new workings of the forum, I suspect the best that can be done is tweaking some of the colours - for instance, there is a border in boards between board topics and Announcement topics, but it's so dark a blue as to be barely visible. Making the blue a little brighter would be a great aid to visual clarity. Also, as I noted earlier, there's some coding that can be added to the forum to make Locations visible again.

As i've said before, there is just...to much going on. Im not sure what to focus on or what to do next or whatever (plus its really ditracting from my writing which is difficult enough as it is.) All in all.... i wish we could have some of these new features, but still in the old style One definte improvement is mya bility to read the stuff on the forum, which, cos of my eye problems, ahs always been difficult, especially in wuotes, but now i have no trouble.

The functionality is actually pretty good but it just doesn't look like 667 any more. I'm sure that can be easily fixed though.

Could we at least get our banner back? ...it knows I use ad-block.

1. How do I reply? (Properly, with preview.)
2. What does the thumbs-up button do?
3. There is still a 'chat' option at the top, so I take it we still have a chatroom as well as the shoutbox, but when I tried to go there I couldn't log in. Perhaps it needs to be enabled again.
4. I guess they are thinking of real locations, and supposing that people might want to keep those private.
