You have the option to send your best friend to live anywhere in either of the series. You can live with them too if you want. Where would you pick for them to live?

The Baudelaire mansion, but with a Fahrenheit 451-esque fireproof cover on it.

Monty's house, probably.

I think I would not like to live in a place that I needed to do constant maintenance ... I would live in Hotel D.

I second the Hotel, so many cool places to explore and the catering would be more reliable than 667

Too many VFD members for me there. I’d be constantly in fear of getting caught up in it all. At least in 667 I could probably observe from a distance.

Self-Sustaining Hot Air Mobile Home so they'll be safe from coronavirus.

Self-Sustaining Hot Air Mobile Home so they'll be safe from coronavirus. Josephine's house would also be safe from viruses, though not from hurricanes. The island might also be a good choice, but only for a while, since everything washes up on its shores eventually.

Does salt water kill the virus? Either way, new castaways may be contaminated.

Or potentially carrying the virus with them in a diving helmet.

As much as I wouldn’t want to interact with any VFD members, the headquarters at the Valley of Four Drafts sounds so lovely and cozy (when it was standing, of course) that I’d probably risk it. The Reptile Room comes in a very close second, though.

Oh my goodness! Are you an Anti-VFD too? Welcome to the club!

Yes, I suppose I am! The ends do not justify the means at all, in my opinion. It’s thrilling to read about, but as soon as you start thinking about it it becomes incredibly problematic.
