At first I thought it could be "Volunteer Fire Department" but that sounds a little obvious. It for sure isn't "Village of Fowl Devotees", "Very Fancy Doilies" or "Volunteers Fighting Disease" Lemony has already established it is Volunteer something (of course you all know that). When I read TUA it was all about V.F.D. but it doesn't say what it stands for. So... I have no clue what it stands for, hopefully we will find out soon.

Are you kidding? I am COMPLETELY positive that it stands for Volunteer Firefighters Disguised. We know that the whole thing revolves around fire and disguises, right? There you have it. Thanks to Tocuna on The Lemony Site Discussion Boards for helping me out with that  |

I's Voulunteer Fire department! I already a rote a thread on this... in Unauthorxzed Autobiography, in that transcript, the members of VFD have to make sure that everbody was kept extinguished...ever thought it was funny how the Quagmire and Snicket and baudelaire mansions were made of green wood...

If it was Volunteer Fire DEPARTMENT, why would it be so secret? There are Volunteer Fire Deptartments all over the place. I think it's Volunteer Fire Detectives, or Volunteer Firefighters Disguised. Most likely the first one. I read somewhere that "By keeping the fires extinguished, the world would be quiet." Like they say, "The World Is Quiet Here". At first I thought that was codswallop, but then my sister reminded me, that is exactly the kind of thing LS/DH would do. Think about it. If there were no fires, therefore no firetrucks sounding their siren, the world would be quiet. In my opinion, that would, under no circumstances, make the world quiet. But if you think about it, that IS exactly the sort of thing LS/DH would do. Wouldn't you agree?

Read TUA again. It mentions an 'Official' Fire Department--OFD. Could there be a secret, Volunteer one that only its members know about and it does a lot of secret stuff?
