If I washed my hair more than every 3 days I would be scratching my head all the time and also I would have to cut off half of my hair because it would just be all broken.
Also sometimes when some selfish workaholics decided to go to school even though they were ill I just stayed at home to not get it too.

it's not always that easy. sometimes work does their best to get you to work even while sick, usually because we need more staff.

Well that's stupid then. But at school there is never the problem that there aren't enough people.

I am a selfish workaholic who stratches her broken freshly washed, clean hair every day whilst infecting others.
And I have absolutely no regrets.

Maybe they just didn't want to skip school because they were struggling with their grades or a certain subject. It sounds like you're the one being selfish/self centered.

Well I would take a worse grade for myself instead of making other people ill. Going to school when being ill doesn't help anyone except yourself. No, not yourself, just your grades.
Also nobody ever notices if I washed my hair three days ago or just a few hours ago. Not even I do.

When it comes to exams, the only person I'm thinking about is myself.
Sorry other people but for those few hours it's all about me.

You guys must lack certain vitamins in your diet causing you to have a weak immune system! At least that's what my mom tells me everytime I get sick. Which is rarely. Actually this year I got sick for two weeks and it was the most time I've ever been sick. Also why would you not shower for two days? That's just gross. I probably do In school holidays I barely ever remember to shower, so it's kinda disgusting. I'll shower like once a week tops. On washing hair, I didn't shampoo my hair from grade 2, up until last year. Now I've finally started to do it, and the sight of greasy hair is kinda repulsive. For adults (like Anka etc.) washing you hair too much will strip it of natural oils, and dry and break it. For adolescents (like Bee etc.) it can be necessary to wash your hair often, to remove excess oils that happen to teenagers for some ungodly reason.

I understand if it's a big important exam on that day that people go and just do it even though they are ill. What I was talking about was more people who say "If I don't have this one lesson of that subject today I might have only 97% instead of 100 in the test in 4 weeks", so they go there.

yeah but you may be making assumptions about other peoples situations. they could have more of a reason than 3 percentage points.

My hair doesn't actually do the grease-thing since a few years ago, but I still like washing it everyday because my shampoo and conditioner smells like raspberries and pomegranate, and also washing your hair and having it smell nice everyday is a really, really great feeling.

People have called me a workaholic, anything less than 100 doesn't really satisfy me. I think the only time that has happened this year was in the Maths Nab, which was 40/40, and I was feeling slightly ill. I'm not suggesting people go to school or work if they're vomiting every hour and shivering like crazy. But if you have a little bit of a cold, or are feeling a little under the weather, you might not even be ~contagious~ and should grow a pair and get yourselves out.

A clever person can also have good grades if they miss one or two lessons and learn the things at home.
It's a good thing that we don't have to work when we are ill, there were times/there are still places where that isn't possible. By going to work anyway we show that that's actually not necessary and then it won't be possible one day when we maybe need it.

Even with a cold there are ways to manage yourself and get things done without infecting others. Diligent hand hygiene and proper cough covering technique combined with avoiding physical/breath contact both limit the amount of germ transmission possible. Like Bee said, if you're vomiting incessantly you shouldn't be out, but life shouldn't completely shut down with minor illnesses. When I had 2-hour lectures on nursing theory I wasn't about to skip one because of a runny nose and sore throat. potato that.
On the other hand, there are certain fields like food service or medicine you really shouldn't go to work when sick because the chances of you spreading your illness are much higher. I had a cold last week and I missed a day of work because 1. there is no way to avoid prolonged, direct physical contact and 2. the people I work with are already immunocompromised. You just have to know the difference. But, in this world, there are many people who simply cannot afford to take sick days, even when they truly are sick. Like selfishness with grades, in their situations I'd probably give more of a damn about feeding my family than getting other people sick.
I'm a nurse so everything I say on this matter is right.
