Several Hours Earlier
'How is Pandora?' 'She's fine' 'Is she really fine?' 'She's fine' 'Are you sure' '.... she's probably fine' Willis took another sip of his beer. 'Y'know, you aren't very reassuring' 'Yeah whatever.' 'Has she told you anything about litmus?' 'No.' He was clearly lying. 'You're clearly lying.' 'Why?' 'Because Linda tells her everything.' 'No. She doesn't. Why are you so interested anyway' 'I'm not' 'You are. You called me, said you wanted to meet up, but we haven't spoken in months. And then all of a sudden you happen to be interested in me. But you aren't. You don't care about me. You care about finding out who stole the diamonds. Everyone knows it wasn't Sophie, but Bee won't believe. So you need to use LITMUS. And to use LITMUS you need Linda's help. And to get Linda's help you need Pandora's help. and to get her help you need...' Willis looked upset 'I would have called you anyway' BSam stood up from the table 'No, you wouldn't. Nobody ever calls me.'
A short while (and one quick train ride) later, BSam found himself walking down a quickly darkening alleyway. He couldn't believe it had come to this, but he had no choice. He soon found himself staring up at the familiar apartment block, and took his phoe out of his pocket. He stood, waiting for a minute. He could see the last rays of the sun reflecting on the highest windows of the tall apartment block. Then, as if by magic, he was there. 'Do you have it?' 'Of course,' said BSam, slipping the packet into his pocket. 'Good' Said the man, slipping the money into BSams pocket.
Another short while (and one last train ride) later, BSam found himself at 667 Dark Avenue, enjoying the festivities of the big Christmas party. And then it happened.
When he woke up, he was on the roof. He also was missing an arm. He would have screamed, had Betsy not been taking care of him 'shh shhhhhhh, it's okay." 'WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S OKAY!!! I ONLY HAVE ONE ARM!' 'Well, I mean more that you are okay for a person who has recently lost an arm' 'Oh... that makes sense' BSam looked at Betsy. 'You're covered in blood' 'That does tend to happen when i treat someone with a missing limb.' She stood up, and walked over to the edge of the roof. The roof... BSam suddenly realised where they were. 'How come we're on the roof?' 'I don't know, i found you here.' Betsy seemed to be adjusting some kind of device attached to the side of the room. 'What are you doing?' 'Sending a signal' she replied. 'Oh.... who to?' 'That doesn't matter' 'Is it really more important than fixing my arm?' 'Not really' 'so why aren't you helping me?' 'Because you're going to die.' 'Oh... can't you help me?' 'I could, but I'm not going to.' All of a sudden, a vast green light seemed to come form the strange device and Betsy turned it so it would face downwards. All of a sudden, BSam began to feel very faint. 'Why won't you help me?' 'shh now,' said Betsy, as BSams vision began to fade. 'Time to die.'

Hooray! It's about time! I had to reread the first part cause it'd been so long.
I hope there's a good explanation for this. I hope I wasn't the one who shot Willis ):

Several Hours Earlier...
Linda sat impatiently and looked at the face of clock as the seconds slowly ticked by. How could this have happened? How did she get involved in this web of lies? There was a knock on the door. 'Come in,' she said. Sherry Ann walked in. 'Hello,' said Linda. 'What do you want?' 'I need your advice.' 'About what?' 'The diamonds. The theft. Do you know who stole them?' 'It was Willis. the source said so.' 'You know as well as i do that the source has very personal reasons for lying. I want to know who you, personally, think stole the diamonds.' Sherry Ann sighed 'Bee keeps asking me and I keep telling her. It's obvious if you stop and think about it, but it's not my place to say. May I ask you a question?' 'Go ahead.' 'Why are you doing this? Why are we bothering ourselves with such trivial matters? LITMUS is much more important than some petty squabble between our friends.' 'But that's exactly why we're doing it,' said Linda, standing up. 'Because they are our friends.'
A few hours later, Linda found herself walking to the local restaurant at the arranged time. Sherry Ann's words stayed with her... why was she letting something as important as litmus get involved with this? There were much more important things she could be doing. Counterpoint had gone missing, and if they didn't find it before the new year, then there would be hell to pay. But this jewel theft had sent ripples though the entire of Tragedy's elite club. Nobody trusted each other anymore. 'Excuse me' Linda was taken back as a man she had never seen before walked in front of her. 'I have to tell you something,' said the strange man. 'Oh,' said Linda, 'and what's that?' 'None of this is real' said the man, laughing. 'Don't you see that? Can't you see that this is all just a game? He wants this to happen. He lives and breathes ad feeds off of this tragedy. And none of it is even real!' And the the man walked away from Linda, and she stood there, slightly shocked. 'Nutter,' she said, and walked into the restaurant, and turned to her thoughts. She was wrong, about the jewel theft, she realised. Nobody trusted each other anymore because of Team Wolf, not because of the theft. The threat of the wolf was so powerful, every 667er now lived in fear. But hopefully the party tonight would change that. Linda had already uncovered enough information that whatever Tragedy was planning, it would have Team Wolf quaking in their boots. She had tried to contact Tragedy several times in the last few days, but as usual he never answered his phone. Linda was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't notice when Pandora arrived. 'Hey,' said Linda, smiling. 'Hey,' said Pandora, much more seriously. 'I have something to tell you. It's really important.' 'What is it?' 'I know who stole the diamonds. BSam told me.'
Several hours later, Linda woke up in the swimming pool. Thankfully the pool was empty of water, of course, otherwise she would have drowned. But she had no idea how she had ended up here, or how she gone from talking to Terry at the diner table to... No. She did know what had happened. She had been trained for this. She pulled herself out of the swimming pool, and walked out into the corridor. only it was completely dark. 'Hello?' she called out. 'Hello?' said a gruff voice. 'Who's there?' There was no reply, but Linda could hear a strange scratching noise. 'Hello?' said Linda again. Then all of a sudden, someone or something ran towards Linda, and with inhuman force picked her up and slammed her against the wall. Even in the darkness, Linda could see the terrifying face staring up at her. 'The wolf will rise.' As Linda died, one thought went through her head. No matter how bad the wolf was, one thing was much more important, but they had no time now. it was too late. Counterpoint.
More to come today

Several Hours Earlier
Teleram was one of the few that had ever seen his face. He dressed in his usual attire, brought along his usual briefcase, and his usual gun, knife, rifle, and box of poison darts. The sun had only just risen, and there was still a light frost in the air and Teleram headed to work. His mind was set hard on the task ahead. After several minutes walking, he approached the LITMUS building, and stood, ad looked all the way up to the 507th floor. He had a long day ahead of him. By the time he had managed to sneak past security, into the private elevator, and then past private security, and then past the far to cautious janitor, he managed to retrieve the file, and placed the false documents in their place, sneaked his way back past security, again into the private elevator, and then past security once more, and walked all the way back to his private residence, it was already 10.30am. Teleram walked inside his apartment, took one quick glance at the security monitor. The live feed was still working, he realised. He had hidden a small camera inside Linda's office at LITMUS many months ago of course. but the feed had gone temporarily offline yesterday evening. Luckily, today it was back up running. Linda was sat in her office, clearly with nothing better to do than stare up at the clock all day. He looked at the file he was holding in his hands. Finally LITMUS had managed to receive some information about Team Wolf, but now it was his. He was just about to open the file and look at what it had to tell him, when there was a knock at the door. Teleram nervously opened the door. 'Hello?' he said. 'Hello?' the voice mimicked back. 'Oh, it's you.' 'Oh,' the voice mimicked once more, 'it's you.' 'What do you want?' The voice was suddenly less mocking, and much more serious 'I heard a howling last night. It woke me. The papers are wrong. Only the wolf knows the truth. Full moon at day.' Teleram thought for a moment, before replying 'Orders understood, thank you Sir'
The rooftop of Miserable Meals was one of the most miserable places in the entire city, but it was also one of the highest. Many years ago, this building had once been an elaborate shopping complex. However, the business soon went bankrupt, and Miserable Meals set up shop on the bottom floor. All other 705 floors were apparently inhabited by a computer company, but every time Teleram snuck in past the minimal security and broke into the hardly locked private elevator, he had never encountered anyone. But now, here he was, standing on top of the roof and... waiting. He coudl see the sun blaring down on it, but hardly any of the heat touched his face on this cold December morning. But, despite the cold, Teleram suddenly felt a chill at the bottom of his spine. A chill that wasn't natural. He turned around, and found himself face to face with the most chilling and horrifying sight he had ever seen. A woman. But this was no ordinary woman. Her face was just.... terrifying. He was standing face to face with a wolf. 'Um...' he said, 'I'm supposed to meet you here. the papers are wrong' 'Yes,' said the.. um... person 'They do not know, but they say they know. only I know the truth' 'Okay.... that's cool then.' 'The diamonds. Everyone is trying to find who stole them, but that isn't important. What matters is where they are now.' 'But.. surely the person who stole the diamonds has them?' 'No. They were lost. But now they are found. And when the time comes, the diamonds are all that matter. You must find the diamonds. and destroy them.' 'Why? Why are the diamonds important?' 'Counterpoint.' 'What?' 'Find Counterpoint, and you will find answers.' The person suddenly turned and ran straight off the edge of the rooftop. Teleram ran to the edge, but the person had completely disappeared.
Teleram returned to his private residence, thoroughly shaken up by the days events. What was Counterpoint? He had heard the name before, once or twice, but it had no real meaning to him. Teleram barely had time to assemble his thoughts when there was another knock at the door. 'Hello?' he said nervously, opening the door again. 'Hello?' the voice mimicked back once more. 'What is it now?' The voice turned once again serious. 'Battery. Delete.' Teleram gulped. 'Yes Sir, orders received.'
The sun was starting to set, when Teleram hopped out of the taxi, and walked to the only bridge out of town. As he expected, he woudl find Bandit there. 'You're missing one hell of a party,' Teleram told him. 'Doesn't matter,' he said. 'It isn't even a real party' 'Oh, of course, forgive me.' 'You do realise you're also missing it.' 'That's okay. You know what work is like.' Bandit laughed. 'So you're here on work then?' 'Yep.' 'Here to kill me?' 'Yep' 'Okay. What did I do this time? What gives me the privilege?' 'I don't know. I've been rather busy today, I honestly have no idea.' 'I think it was Anka that pushed him over the edge. She's the thread that holds this reality together. I proved it to her, y'know? I made her realise that all of this... thing, none of it is real. It's all just a game.' 'If it's a game, why don't you just play along?' 'If it's a game, why should I? You can... you can slide along, be Tragedy's pawn, you can do whatever you like. But me? I've seen the light.' 'I'm not Tragedy's pawn.' 'You are. Otherwise you wouldn't have come all this way to kill me.' Teleram thought for a moment. 'I have no choice. You don't know what it's like. You don't know what he's like.' Bandit laughed again. 'No, that's true. Funny, isn't it. Why does nobody know what Tragedy is like?' And then a silence fell on the two of them. They both stood and looked at the huge lake. The sky turned from blue to orange, to red, and then to black as night fell. It began to snow. 'So,' said Bandit, breaking the silence, 'you're going to kill me now I assume?' 'No. I have one question. If none of this is real, and you know why, then tell me this. What is Counterpoint?' 'I'm not a genius. I have absolutely no idea.' 'Okay,' said Teleram, reaching for the gun in his pocket. 'But I know one, it means one thing, and one thing only. It means that this is the end.' 'Of what?' 'Of this world.' 'But how?... but wait!' Teleram began to pace. 'The wolf said that the diamonds mean Counterpoint, and... wait' Teleram stopped dead in his tracks. 'I know what's happening. This all makes sense now. I have to get back to the party, and I have to get back before he can -' 'You're not going anywhere,' said Bandit, pointing a gun at Teleram. Teleram reached for the gun in his pocket only to find it was no longer there. Bandit fired.
