Voilá EDIT: Dammit, I've just noticed that that's not the valetudinarian's right side. Is it okay if we change "right" to "left" in the definition, Bandit? Valetudinarian: A person who is overly preoccupied and anxious about their own health. Doctor Robinson was fed up with the valetudinarian in Ward 3 who kept whining about a severe pain in his left side. [Bandit] ___________________________________________________ Chiropterologist: A person, often one of incredible beauty whom doomed men love, who partakes in the studying and training of bats for noble purposes. I was about to point out to a colleague that ‘chiropterologist’ was a more apt word than his ‘baticeer’ but at that moment I was attacked by his bat called Baticeer. [Agathological]

Hahaha, those are fantastic illustrations. (And yes, changing it to left side is fine.)

Excellent work, Terry. I'll get those added to the first post.
Mr. Handler's birthday is in five days, and we're up to 9/44. Can we get it up to at least 11/44 in that time? I hope so!

Tremendous, Bee. Those bring us up to a quarter of the way through, which was my personal minimum requirement - and they add great diversity to the Snicktionary. I just hope nobody is vexed by your motley crew of antagonists.
There's still time for others to contribute to unclaimed words. D to H in particular are looking a bit sparse, and it would be rather ironic not to pay attention to D H on our patron's birthday.

Yep, great job, everyone! I like all the designs and drawings so far (maybe there's gonna be more). Glad you like mine, too, and yes, they're drawn by hand on paper. I've never learned how to use (or wanted to spend money on) any of those computer drawing pads. The little colouring was done on the computer after scanning, though.

Can you edit pictures at all? Produce a nifty banner-type image?

I hope you can make it, Agathological. 11 was my minimum, but it would be great if we could get to 13 (or more).

Teleram, when you say that it's "more or less finished," do I take that as "actually finished," or "still to be polished"? Please confirm! I approve of the fiery shades of your tattoo, though. And Duchess, I look forward to it!
The two of you can push the total number of illustrations up to 13, which would be very fitting. I'll probably write an accompanying letter tomorrow morning, give time for people to look over the finished product, and then send it off on Friday morning (which would be the very late 27th or very early 28th in Mr. Handler's time zone).
