Actually no, it was the youngest girl who I found most annoying.

I've read books 1-6 (in that order, starting at The Magician's Nephew), but by books 4-6 I had lost interest and was reading so inattentively I didn't even care to try getting through book 7 (I'm not even sure that I finished The Silver Chair). Actually, my favourite was The Magician's Nephew, and from there it just went steadily downhill for me (except that The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was decidedly less interesting than The Horse and his Boy).
I was a lot younger then, though, so I would probably form a new opinion if I read them again. But that would also mean being old enough to pick up on all the preachy religious stuff, which would most likely just annoy me.

Actually no, it was the youngest girl who I found most annoying. Why was she being annoying to you? Like she's literally Miss Exposition for, idk, 1/3 of the book?

Hahaha Edmund was such a spoiled brat. But he grew! I love character development <3 also, this thread makes me want to reread these, which I should anyway since I'm presenting about allegories in English class, and I think these books will be very useful for examples.

I know, in this forum I am probably a dramatic exception, and so on, but... they are my favourite books. Seriously - my all-time favourite book series in the world.

I've read books 1-6, never got around to The Last Battle for some reason. My favourite book is a tie between The Silver Chair and Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
