Recently had a boon on eBay getting the complete audio book set. The annoying thing is; that tracks aren't titled making organising them for my ipod an absolute nightmare.

I think some of the audiobooks more or less predate iPods, if that's any explanation. Still, congratulations; I haven't listened to the audiobooks myself, but I'm sure they're something quite special, and I brought the omnibus of the Gothic Arch(i)es' musical accompaniments and enjoyed those fairly completely.

It is a joy to listen to; Tim Curry is very well spoken. Handler is a bit too soft in his recordings; but he himself said he found the experience ardours and thus handed it back to Curry. I'm surprised you don't have them Dante. I like the Gothic Archies songs; i bought a couple off itunes; might complete the album; I really love the songs for 10 & 12.

Here is a bit of new info that the books don't tell us, based on Curry's and Snicket's portrayals;
Georgina Orwell is Russian Phil is a Southerner in Snicket's portrayal (Which Curry abandons in his portrayal in TGG) Captain Widderhins and Fiona are Scottish

Those details actually make me wish I'd listened to the audiobooks.

I didn't realise that Tim Curry narrated all of the Audio books, I thought he only did the first two.

Colette is perhaps French - can't quite place the accent but I always suck at that - in TCC and TSS, though Curry somehow forgot about it in TPP.

The audiobooks are a treat to listen to. I checked a bunch of them out from the library back when I was first reading the books and listened to them with my sisters (who were 5 and 7 at the time so not the best readers yet).

I listened to them before I fell asleep starting when I was 5 and I kept that up for many years They're great Tim curry is great Colette is perhaps French - can't quite place the accent but I always suck at that - in TCC and TSS, though Curry somehow forgot about it in TPP. Colette is a French name so that's probably what he was going for

Snicket's portrayal of Sir has a somewhat unusual way of pacing his speech which is hard to explain if you haven't heard it (hint: get the TMM audiobook and hear it). Curry, to my disappointment, didn't do this or anything similar with Sir's voice in TPP.

That's true. Snicket puts the wrong emphasis on certain words for Sir;it's quite amusing.
Curry portrays Monty with a lisp; making his R's sound like W's (literally the Weptile Woom).
Mr Remora has a dull, booming voice, Mrs Bass sounds hysterical (again, Curry abandons)

I had all the audiobooks up to the 11th book, I believe.
I remember the thing that stood out to me the most was that Tim Curry and Lemony Snicket's portrayals of Count Olaf were worlds apart.
The audiobooks made me realize that Tim Curry was the voice of Nigel Thornberry, and his biography on the back of the audiobook covers served as my introduction to Rocky Horror.
