yes, spiders. the bigger ones i fear more than death for sure. I'm afraid of death because the thought of not existing and what that entails frightens me. And I'm really only scared when I think about it too much, and don't feel like thinking about death every second of every day. What would be something that not existing entails? That you won't be able to enjoy earthly pleasures anymore? Or maybe that your family will have a hard time with coping? I think the latter is the only reason I'm afraid of dying, but other than that, not existing at all or being in a different plane of existence sounds like a peaceful and/or interesting affair. I think to fear death is a little bit like to fear leaving home. EDIT: Okay that might sound like I don't care whether I live or die, which is not true at all; I just accept that there's going to be a time of death for me like for everybody and everything else, which is fine; I just hope I'll live long enough to achieve a couple things.

Sounds silly, but I'm afraid I can't see how the future is like and how the world ends, because it would be exciting, and too bad that I have to die and be forgotten in the future.
EDIT: I apologize for my English.

That makes perfect sense, Tryina. I guess I can relate to that, although I'm not as much afraid of it as I am kinda saddened and humbled.

You see, I don't really believe in a different plane of existence. So not existing wouldn't really be an interesting or peaceful affair, because I wouldn't be there to experience peace or interest. I've thought a lot about this and I find it difficult to explain... After death, no one would have access to all my memories, making my life experiences meaningless. I wouldn't exist to know I (or anything else, for that matter) had once existed. So not exisiting would be like never having existed. Like nothing in my life ever really existed. It's like that thing in philosophy about the tree that falls in the forrest, but there's no one there to hear it... Reality is actually just made up of human consciousness. Once I'm no longer conscious, there will be no reality. For me, at least. And I find that very scary. Does that sound crazy? In short, according to my insane logic, not existing = never having existed = me going through a frightening existencial crisis.

tbh, im guessing the only reason most of you are so chill about death is bc you're so young. its an understandable fear.

i have no idea how old anyone is anymore!
anyway i'm really cavalier about death and i probably shouldn't be but i can't help it, kind of give me an hour to get rid of anything in my apartment i don't want my parents to find, promise me it won't hurt too bad, and sure, let's call it a day! (at least then i won't have to spend decades and decades to come agonizing over how ~useless and damaging~ my existence is)
spiders are terrifying cockroaches are worse cENTIPEDES TOO i mean i think these things are probably fine in their place but if they are in my living space i will panic 4real
whatever i'm scared of most things tbh
making decisions talking to humans anything related to exercise metal stairs skateboarders teenagers etc
