O hey, I turn 18 a few days before the next presidential election, but they don't register people fast enough for me to be able to vote.

It's worth noting that, although they formed part of the coalition government, the Liberal Democrats actually lost seats at the previous general election (though I believe their total share of the vote was slightly higher than previously). It'll be interesting to see how things go for them at this election. Also, as a fun fact, I used to live in Nick Clegg's constituency. Times sure have changed. The constituency I presently live in is a Labour seat with the Conservatives some way behind and the SNP and then the Liberal Democrats on their heels. In that situation - as in most seats, if we're honest - there isn't really much of a choice at all. You're right about that - the Lib Dems gained 1% of the vote from 2005 but lost 5 seats. I think there's no question that the Lib Dems will be wiped out, and that Clegg has no future as their leader. They might be in for a rough few years after that.

Also please don't vote Green- they want use to leave NATO and stop all oil production in the North Sea. Crazy. Are these bad things to want?

From what I konw I agree with the Liberal Democrats in some points, Labour in a few other points and nobody in most points. I'm also not a big fan of the British voting system, because the parties don't end up having the same proportion of importantness as of votes, which in my opinion is kind of the point of an election.

Spending cuts have to be made no matter what; last time labour was in power they massively overspent the national budget (worse than the conservatives). Acquaintances who watched the full General Election Leaders' Debates said that SNP and Welsh Party seemed to be most honest and fair as to what they want to do. From the bits I've seen, Milliband was just looking for opportunities to recite rehearsed speeches... I haven't made up my mind yet, though.

The Greens have pledged in their manifesto to scrap the licence fee, so they've lost my vote.
