So I made the banner for Funniest Member, and yesterday on facebook I was saying "you'll never guess who won" and Sam thought I was being sarcastic and that he won, and I had to clarify, "no, you really will never guess". The Dante win was definitely unexpected.

And hurray for the 667er! Honestly, all the nominees for the Best Writing award are great; the 667er seems somewhat of a fair compromise though. And congarats to the two Best Pairings as well!

And now we've finally reached the end* of the Darkies. It's been a wild ride; we've laughed, we've cheered, and we've cried. We've seen some expected awards, and also watched upset after upset (seriously, I'm already campaigning for #lindora2016 guys ). And before we go, there is one** last award to present, the one we've all been waiting for: Most Valued Poster.

*well, not quite. Apparently the Best New Member presenter is MIA but I can't wait any longer.

There were 15 nominees for this award, a record number. All bring something unique to the table:

Anka - Without her we wouldn't be holding these awards today.
Bandit - I don't know, some people think he's funny I guess?
Bee - A strong, sassy, small, and sweet Scottish sister with lots of swag.
BSam - Everyone's favorite bearded Australian. His hobbies include cooking, drinking, watching cool tv shows, judging people for watching not-so-cool tv shows, and ruling MM with an iron fist.
Charlie - This guy is fierce, whether he's dressing in a bra covered in 100 tea bags or warning us of the dangers of the Teleban. His motto: live long and watch more K-Pop!
Dante - I guess being moderator of Burdensome Books for a decade and being the the one with the most insider info on all things Lemony Snicket has to count for something.
Hermes - Tirelessly wishing the forum a happy birthday (Seriously, why didn't he get nominated for Best Organiser?)
Kyle - "queer nose for the straight bros

Linda - Ew, who nominated her?
Mister M - It's thanks to him The 667er exists again. And I hear he makes a killer cuffin.
Pandora - Harry Styles voted for her. True story. I bet you didn't even know Harry was a member of 667, did you?
Pen - Dude is super smart and once all his killer tests are done he's going to get into a great college. Plus he's got an adorable smile.
Rellim - If any 667er suddenly had something life-threatening happen to them, we could rest assured that she would save their life. (Sorry Betsy I know you hate being the token nurse on all things 667 but I couldn't resist)
Sherry Ann - Making online stalking adorable. Have fun at college, Piper!
Teleram - If it weren't for him, we'd probably all be on s*uce right now. Thank you, Teleram, even if you do hate The Good Wife for no reason.
