I'm not gonna stop watching his stand up. Big shout out to Tig Notaro, though, for being the first prominent person to publicly stand up to his off-stage behavior. I'll check out Peretti and Cho, I don't think I've seen them before.

isn't his stand-up just 90% him admitting to sex crimes and the audience laughing about it

not really unfortunately, that'd be easier my best friend did her first standup show in NYC and he randomly showed up and was given a spot (obviously) to "try out new material" on us, i was very starstruck and apparently he was really nice to my other friend this was probably 2 years ago now

2017 comedy specials I've seen:
Louis C.K.: 2017 - Very good, but will always be overshadowed by being named after the year everyone got to know his salsaty side.
The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium. Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits. - Both very good, though definitely not among Chappelle's best.
Rory Scovel Tries Stand Up for the First Time - Pretty disappointed, as Scovel never let me down before. It felt like he winged it and it didn't work out.
Dave Chappelle: equanimity - The one released like one or two weeks ago; Brilliant set, def liked it better than the previous two Netflix specials.

Last month I watched Todd Barry: Spicy Honey from 2017, and that one's also good--Barry never disappoints.
Today I watched Fred Armisen's new special, 'Standup for Drummers', and it's quite a charmless snoozefest (with shoehorned long tangents that have nothing at all to do with drumming), unfortunately.

Discovered a Scottish stand up comedian that I'm digging, called Fern Brady:

I've only seen four videos of him, incl. these two, yes. i'm happy about the fact that he's buddies with rory scovel, who is one of the best. also i love that your dad is showing you stand-up comics, haha, that's cool.
