Hello all! Nice to meet you! I'd like to preface by reassuring you that despite the frightening picture displayed to the left I am not , in fact, a vicious and terrible beast that once threatened to slaughter a contingent of bears on their way to invade Sicily; nor am I the world's smallest species of monkey, which would be every bit as upsetting.I am, however, a 21 year old university student from the UK who's nosed around this forum intermittently for the best part of a decade. Still a primate then, but just a little bigger! In my spare time I enjoy parties, gardens, good food, music and weather and popular books about clever children who manage to survive against tremendous odds. I'm currently waiting on an eBay shipment of ASOUE hardbacks so I can start a proper re-read before Season 2, having first got my hands on most of the books via the library. I'll be reading alongside my young cousins, one of whom is delighted to discover that she shares her name with a major character, although I hope that reading the books does not encourage her to start wearing real stiletto knives in her shoes.

I love how everyone's following the animal theme. Btw you can slaughter Reba anytime, we all do. Hope you have lots of fun and stick around for years! What do you study, by the way?

What do you study, by the way? Thank you for the welcome! I'm a Classicist with a rather poor handle on Latin and Greek. Luckily they're not compulsory for the course I'm taking! Learned 'em in school and enjoyed it for a while but eventually couldn't keep track of my declensions and conjugations, haha. I'd much rather study the history and culture.

Hi Marmoset! You seem to have contributed to a trend on 667 where we're suddenly aware how many of us are usually animals, and now even some of us who usually aren't are. University students are one of my favourite types of primate, not least because I fall into that category myself. I hope you'll have fun!

Oh really? How exciting it is to stand on the threshold of fashion!
Thanks for the welcomes, everyone. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself here!

What University do you attend, if you don't mind me asking?
