The End is longer than the average episode but less than two hours long.
Elements from Daniel Handler's original sequel script made it into seasons 2 and 3 including a book V.F.D. is trying to get to the Baudelaires and Olivia Caliban's backstory.
Not all the actors could make it back for TPP, in fact there was a [Sir/Charles?] scene that had to be cut out because one of the actors couldn’t make it due to a typhoon in Fiji [likely Rhys Darby as he's been filming a show there] but one of the actors [Don Johnson?] still has a scene.
There is an added storyline in season 3 that wasn’t present in the books much like seasons one and two.
The reason the henchpeople don’t get killed off in season 2 is that Daniel Handler and the writers wanted Olaf to be at his highest moment at the end of TCC and the beginning of TSS and part of that involved his henchpeople not being killed off one by one.
There will be a lot of references to ATWQ in season 3.
Joe Tracz mentions that season 3’s post-production is beginning to wrap up (but hasn't finished yet) and that he has recently been shown edits of the last episodes.
He confirms that Season 3 will "definitely" be released in 2019 and when the fact that some of the show's actors have mentioned a November release date comes up, he laughs and says that one of the main takeaways of ASOUE is that you can’t always trust actors.
The tie-in book was always meant to come out before season 3 and because of that, it teases season 3 without spoiling everything.
The tie-in book contains a secret code which people should wait to crack until after they watch the third season.
Joe Tracz hopes that the End will make people cry.
TPP contains cinematic equivalents to a lot of the stylistic tricks used in the book, much like the adapted version of the Sebald code as seen in the show's versions of TRR and TCC.

Lots of preview images from "Incomplete History"!
The first two pages of the book's section on The Grim Grotto episodes; visible are the episodes' opening credit lyrics, a section by Daniel Handler about the process of writing the episode, and photos of a sonar display, an office, and the Baudelaires crouching behind a table.
The Real Sugar Bowl.
A section on Esmé's Octopus dress from The Grim Grotto.
Photos depicting a tuxedoed Count Olaf standing in an area that strongly resembles the behind the scenes photos we have of the Hotel Denouement.
Count Olaf, Esmé Squalor, and Carmelita Spats [all in disguise?] at Briny Beach.
A picture of Justice Strauss holding a copy of Odius Lusting After Finance, or as it has seemingly been retitled here; Odius Lusting After Fortunes.
Be sure to pause, because there's a lot of information going by very quickly.
This one is of partucular interest, since it contains our first real picture from Season 3.

First up are these pieces of fake machinery which are likely part of either the Queequeg or Carmelita submarine sets.
Too many quick glimpses to post them all here. But you can see many items from season 3... some are assumed season 3 (like the submarine helmet statue), but some are marked (you can see "Island Colony", "Hotel Lobby", "Hotel Laundry Room", among other things). My favorite sneak peek: the poncho that Violet wears. Looks just like the art for The Slippery Slope!
