I don't believe it'll be that much different from the books at all. The show expands upon most of the books pretty substantially, introducing new subplots and scenes, and integrating the show's exclusive characters and storylines. I assume that will all be wrapped up in TPP, and TE will be a pretty straightforward adaptation of the book.

Maybe for some of the non-returning cast?! I don't want it to ever end!!!

I know this isn't really news but I found it very interesting. One of the associate heads of the show's VFX department recently updated their LinkedIn page with this little glimpse into the show's VFX budget. www.imdb.com/name/nm5017535/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr190:Edit: Just for anyone who doesn't know, VFX is the department that covers all the effects made via computer in Post-Production. SFX is the department that covers practical effects that are done on set a.k.a. Explosions, Collapsing Walls, Elaborate Mechanical Props etc...

1.5mill for "The End" alone??? Jeez Yeah. It certainly seems like the End will be very vfx heavy, considering it has a bigger budget than every other episode in the season. If you average that $4.5 million VFX Budget out you get: The Slippery Slope: Parts 1 and 2- $ 1,000,000 The Grim Grotto: Parts 1 and 2- $ 1,000,000 The Penultimate Peril: Parts 1 and 2- $ 1,000,000 The End- $ 1,500,000

Well, that certainly adds a different dimension to any consideration of how ambitious their take on The End is going to be. A more than two-episode budget on a single episode alone? Certainly a positive sign. Did they construct an entire artificial island - or are we perhaps getting glimpses of the battle with the eagles after all?

Could the henchpeople who should be dead by now mutiny with the WFW in TSS?

Could the henchpeople who should be dead by now mutiny with the WFW in TSS? Most likely, given that those actors finished filming back in early February when the show was shooting The Slippery Slope.

I like how every character just gets one sticker except for the White Faced Women, who get 3 all to themselves.
