sorry for bumping this, but i'm re-watching the netflix series (tvv part 2 now) and i gotta say i really enjoy all the scenes with jacques snicket. i kinda missed out on discussing the netflix series when it first came out...which kinda sucks. i think i like gothicarchiesfan 's idea of doing a re-watch of the series. anyone else up for it? EDIT: i'm also pacing myself this time around, which is nice. i binge-watched everything when the episodes first came out and i think that took away some of the enjoyment. now i get to really savour each episode.

I also missed the original discussion and would be up for a re-watch discussion.

I think we just need an organizer ... tk, are you a volunteer in this?

Christmas Chief , Optimism is my Phil-osophy , also anyone who's interested: Before we actually start the re-watch, how are we going to discuss it? Season-by-season? Or by episode? Also is it wise to start a new thread just for the re-watch? It might be redundant to create new threads... Should we just hijack the existing threads and put a disclaimer that we're doing a re-watch, hence the bumping of the threads? Thoughts?

Definitely start new threads. The discussion will be much easier to follow that way.
My vote would be to go episode by episode, with a few days to discuss each.

Antenora and I rewatched the series earlier this year (and the movie), so I won't be participating, but this strikes me as an excellent idea. It's interesting to reappraise something after time has passed and your views have had time to develop, and you aren't quite going on first-viewing instant responses any more; and it means you can reassess the earlier episodes in light of later ones, too. Doing new things is the surname of 2020 Easily my favourite Jean Lucio post.

How did your feelings on the series and the film adaptation change upon rewatching? In all honesty, not much. It perhaps solidified or validated the feelings I already had. I struggle to think of any areas in which my opinions changed. I therefore conclude that I was right the first time.
