Linda was always such a vibrant personality, bursting with warmth and wit, armed with a truly incredible sense of humour. If anything, it seemed like she'd outlive us all. If she'd compliment you, you could tell was it coming straight from her heart, no bullsh-t. Her care for her friends, the fiery passion she had for her work, the unique perspective she added to each conversation and general sense of "Dammit, you gotta be kind" all put us all to shame. There is now a gaping hole in this community without her.

This news is quite sad for me. While I've come and gone over the years, Linda was an ever constant and it was always a pleasure to have her acquaintance. She was always super welcoming. I always associated her with the forum and community of 667; a Very Fun Delegation, and I'm feeling at odds, trying to understand she's passed away. Her inclusiveness was always something that struck me strongly. Her hard work on The 667er and Big Brother were standing examples of that; she even reached out to me for a guest Big Brother spot and I found it touching that she'd considered me, even when I wasn't as present online. She even purchased my book during the Summer Book Club quite some time ago and was actively discussing/relating to my customer service experiences. I'll be donating to the page shortly. Though it pains me to say this - Vale, Linda.

Hi, this is Megan's dad. I picked up her tablet this morning and saw your posts. I can see that she made a great impact on you as she did on us. You may not know that 11 years ago she was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases and we were told that she probably would only live another 5 years or so. With new medications her conditions were stabilized and, while she still had physical limitations, we came to expect that she would be with us much longer. We are so thankful that we got those extra years to be with her. Her sudden death was a shock to us and reading your posts this morning brought some joy. Thank you.

I've been coming here on and off since 2003, I remember Linda and I'm very sorry to hear this. My condolences to her family, she was an integral part of this community.

I would also like to offer my condolences, belated though they are, to Linda's family and close friends. To say that I knew her well would be an overstatement, but what I read of her words is enough to know that the loss of her is a big loss to the world.

Me and Anka have had no internet for the last few weeks (We've been moving, actually) and as such have been out of the loop for a while. Anka came into work about two weeks ago and used the library internet to check stuff, and we heard about this, and sadly I haven't been able to post here until recently.
This is devastating news. Linda is and always will be the heart of 667. When me and Anka talked about Linda the other day, something that she said summed her up best; Linda treated everybody with respect and kindness in a way that no other 667er does.
I have begun writing a tribute History of 667 article, covering the many brilliant things Linda has done for the site over the years. I only joined here 6 years ago, however, and Linda joined long before that. If there is anything that she did that you think I should mention or link, please PM it to me.

As a way of honoring Linda's memory, trip and I decided to contact as many people that's working or has worked on the Netflix show as possible, asking them to include her in some way during the post-production process, whether it is as a guest of Hotel Denouement, an islander or just mentioning her during the credits. A couple of fan groups, pages and communities joined this request, some of them being Desventuras em Série Brasil, La Pente Glissante, The Snicket Sleuth, the ASOUE subreddit and the netflixasoue Instagram account. I already sent a message to most of the actors, directors, writers and creative team via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and/or e-mail, but if any of you has a way to reach someone (maybe The famous March Fool's day has any direct contact with Daniel Handler's people? Or Liam R. Findlay with some actors for his drawings?), please contact me so I can send you the message Trip and I wrote to explain our request.

I'm friends with her on FB - any of the other OG 667ers think she would be able to help?

I don't know Linda well either, having only chatted with her a few times since 2010, but I am shocked and disheartened to know of her sudden passing. My sympathies and condolences to her family and friends.

Hi, I have a contact to Daniel Handler's literary agent. As this contact is unrelated to the netflix show I doubt anything will come of it. I think this is a lovely idea though, and I hope it falls through.

Umm I haven't kept up with this site recently so IDK idf it's too late to say this, but... trying to get Linda's name into the Netflix series strikes me as a very, very bad idea.

It's just too "personal" (for lack of a better term) of a matter I'd really rather not see being put out there.

I don't get it Teleram , what is personal? The main reason I'm trying to do this is because Linda, as I said before, not only has been crucial to keep 667 and the ASOUE fanbase alive, she was also a spectacular human being. I don't see how getting her name mentioned somehow on one of her favorite shows would be bad, for me is a way to give more people a chance to find out about her and how much she did for the ASOUE community and for society in general.

I agree. It would make sense to have their approval (permission feels too strong) first.
