Post your favorite books of the year.
Although I did a lot of reading this year, I only read three books with a 2018 publication date. I guess my New Year's Resolution for 2019 might be to read more new books!
3. Formerly Known as Food - Kristin Lawless (June 19, 2018) This book had a lot of interesting details in it. The author took a little too depressing of a standpoint for me, and her visions for how to solve problems seemed unrealistic, but her chapters about food were highly informative.
2. The Good Neighbor - Maxwell King (September 4, 2018) This was a biography on Mr. Rogers. There were so many touching and inspirational moments. This was a man who had a lot of talent and who worked very hard, and he did it to help children instead of to better himself. He was always thinking of other people before himself.
1. The Yes Brain - Daniel Siegel & Tina Payne Bryson (January 9, 2018) This book had great parenting advice and was easy to read. There are also charts and pictures which are quite useful. I liked this book as much as their similar book, The Whole Brain Child.

I only read one 2018 book, and I very highly recommend it: Wundersmith by Jessica Townsend. However, I especially recommend reading Nevermoor first, as Wundersmith is its sequel.
