Your creativity is hilarious. Few things make me laugh when I read something in English, because I usually lose my timing because of mental translation. But Terry and Bear together are really amazing. Congratulations! And your threads are also innovative and interesting.

Congrats Lemona. We miss you very much. We also miss BSam, Tiago, Peppermince and even Pandora. We would miss Dante if he were actually absent.
Congrats Terry and Bear. It's great to see the game section coming to life again; and the knuckle tats post (a rare non-birthday thread in Bothersome Birthdays) was a great event. The postmodern advertising thread is certainly an interesting proposal and contribution to the Snicket discussion, though you might think it deserved more replies.
Terry: I thought I voted for Raddest Book Covers. I was also rather surprised to see that Rad Movie Posters was absent from the nominations this year.

Since we're talking about funny things, let's present the "Funniest Member" award! If I recall correctly, BSam won this one a lot of times, if not for the last 5 years. This year he was nominated, but lost getting only one vote. That's what happens when you dissappear for so long! Cracky McTeague has a, well, let's say particular kind of humor. He stayed a strong presence here but even so he only got one vote, getting third on this award. Try harder next year! jim seems to be considered pretty fun since he got three votes, landing on the second place. Good work Quis, keep working on your jokes! Mr. Dent joined us last year and became an active and important user quickly. Thanks to his funny posts, he got three votes, being on second place alongside Quisby. That was close! Finally, on the first place, our favorite animal, the one who insults everything and everyone on a funny way, our sour yet lovely Reba! Quisby, you're more likely to make a wise man crack - hey-yo you mean sophisticated But yes, bear is the obvious winner of Funniest Member and heir to BSam's legacy. I was also rather surprised to see that Rad Movie Posters was absent from the nominations this year. I would've definitely nominated it if it were from 2018, but it started in 2016, so I think that disqualifies it. Terry, the conga rats line makes my day. This weekend event has been extended because some people ( Reba and You Look Lost specifically) didn't post their presentations, so allow me to continue with the next award. "Best Profile Decoration" has been an award that many have wanted to win, putting their best effort on making an attractive an aesthetic combination of avatar, signatura and, lately, also status. This year we had four candidates: We have You Look Lost and Onder , both of them displaying ducks on their profiles. It's a shame Gamla Anka is not around anymore, she'd love this ducky theme going on. We also have Cracky McTeague , with changing theater masks, a phrase, a George Cruikshank illustration as avatar and a status that he regularly changed to combine with the "OP" of his avatar. Finally, we have Reba who made a consecuent use of his three bears watching, reading and listening signature this year, updating it regularly. And the winner is... ... ... ... ... ...not Mister M! He got two votes. Sorry pal. ... ... ... ... ...not Onder! He got two votes as well. ... ... ... ... ... BEAR AND TERRY CRAIG! It's a tie with three votes each. Congratulations to both of you! |
