I heard about a Zoom Party that will be with Daniel Handler and other authors on Saturday night. (9 pm EST). Does anyone know more information about this? How can I participate? Has anyone participated in something like this in life?

I am unfamiliar with Zoom, but I presume this is the event you allude to? Details as to how to participate are included in the second tweet, and I imagine if you follow those you will then be given further instructions.

I have questions. Are the stories from Zyzzyva mag? Are they read by their respective authors? Does "Instagram Live Reading" mean a video is just gonna get uploaded on insta at that time, or will it be only viewable live and then not anymore? What's a zoom? ... This is terrible marketing!

Just throw all your money on the stage, and everything will be explained.

Zoom is a video conference app similar to Skype, but Zoom is better than Skype for video conferencing. I think it's a great opportunity for all of us to see each other. I mean, you already know how I look ...

I participated! I met Daniel Handler! And we exchange messages! This is amazing! And of course, I was a big idiot in front of him! And I asked about Beatrice, because if I didn't do that I would regret it for the rest of my life (which may be short, due to the coronavirus). Of course he did not answer ... But he was not arrogant, nor was he angry. He smiled! (angry, but smiled ... Poor him ... Of so many fans, so I went to participate in this party ...) Well, I put an audio transcript to run while he was speaking. Below, without punctuation and with the errors of automatic audio transcription: Well ... The question I asked was the one I always wanted to ask him. "The night at Lemony Snicket was captured at the Masked Ball, he said a few words to Beatrice. What he said was" Count Olaf is dead "? I knew he would never answer, and I knew I was going to do something very inopportune, but asking him that was my dream for a long time ... I feel like I was finally able to make a dream come true, something that makes me very happy. It is a small blessing in this very difficult time.

Congratulations, Jean Lucio. I'm happy to hear that you were able to fulfil your dream. Even if he didn't answer your question, of course, but he never answers any of ours, either. It's a rite of passage.

It is good to know that, despite the quarantine, Hackers continue to work on an essential service that is to steal from us. But they are in the home office, I believe.
