Welcome to this year's 667 awards, the Germies! (You may pronounce this how you like, though I prefer a hard G.) This is the thirteenth year in which these awards have been held, and so a specially (in)auspicious occasion on which to celebrate the achievements of 667.
Although forums as an internet venue are in decline, and have been for many years, 667 lives on, and has recently experienced a revival of activity, so this is a good moment to honour those who have contributed to our discussion, creativity and comradeship.
The awards ceremony will be held on the weekend of 6th-7th June. Watch this space for further details.

Please put this in the Special Category thread. (Also, a reason is needed.)

Nominations for all categories are now open. They will close at 9.00 p.m. BST (8.00 p.m. GMT) on Tuesday 26th May. Nominations may be posted in the threads, or sent to me by PM. I will announce private nominations in the threads (without the name of the proposer, obviously).
If nominating more than one person/pair/work, it would be helpful to make separate posts, so that I can clearly see the distinct nominations. Accordingly, double posting is permitted on this board. (Most of you won't understand that, but I thought I should clarify it for the benefit of those who do.)

Voting is now open in all categories. It will close at 9.00 p.m. BST on Wednesday 3rd June, at which time screenshots will be taken. The polls remain active until after the ceremony, so as not to reveal the results, but members are asked not to vote after the official closing time, as this confuses the historical record.

We need people to make banners for the various awards. Anyone interested in doing so please PM me, mentioning any awards they would paticularly like to do.

I am now recruiting people to do award prsentations. As this is the thirteenth year of these awards, I would like the ceremony to have a historical feel, so am anxious to get people from each generation of 667 taking part.
If you would like to present an award, please PM me. If there is a particular award you would like to present (preferably not one you are nominated for), let me know (though a few have already been assigned).

Many thanks to the brave volunteers who have agreed to create banners. We are still seeking banners for Volunteer, Writing, Thread, Funniest and the Special Award (sorry, not Artist, that was a misprint).

Many thanks. I will pencil you in for them all, but volunteers are still welcome.
I suggest that if anyone else wants to volunteer they do so by tomorrow evening, so that Z can have due warning of what he has to do.
