- This is Foxy's second consecutive win, and her 4th award overall
- Sadly this is the smallest number of nominees. Perhaps I will have to get my creative juices flowing...
Best Volunteer
- Jean Lucio becomes the third person to win Best Volunteer twice, along with Ryan Trimble and Dante. All multiple winners have had consecutive victories
- Dante has been nominated every year for this award. No other member has been nominated 13 times for any award. (Though one has been nominated 12 times, any guesses as to who?)

Congratulations to Hermedy! And thanks to MisterM for the stats. For some reason, I thought Hermedy had won this award many more times.

Finally, congrats to Jean Lucio: a well-deserved award for the life you have injected into BBooks! (Incidentally, I am also a fan of the modifications you've made to your Boutique avatar.)

There was one spare room in the penthouse of 667 Dark Avenue, and it was time to decide who would be the new roommate. There were five people who had applied for it and been invited for interviews. "It's 2020", one of the existing inhabitants said. "People in the real world are being quarantined for some reason, what if that happens in this weird imaginary online world? We have to pick the right person to be quarantined with for a while". So they looked at the notes they had taken during the interviews, trying to decide who would be the best potential quarantine buddy. Bear - didn't even turn up to the interview, that's just rude Charlie - first evryone thought he wouldn't turn up too, but he was just a few minutes late. Seems like a very fun person to hang out with. Sherry Ann - not as mysterious as everyone thought. Very nice person, ended up having lots of interesting conversations. Willis - very nice guy Bee - lovely person, likes baking which is always a good thing for a roommate. "Really, Anka?", Mister M said. "These are your notes? We talked to Willis for over an hour and you can't think of more than three words to write down?" Everyone agreed to put someone else in charge of taking notes next time. They remembered everyone enough anyway, so they just voted, and decided that the new roommate was... Sherry Ann!  |

Excuse me for being late! Thanks to everyone for choosing me volunteer of the year Best Volunteer! It's been a lot of fun to keep making theories and post here. With respect to the prize that I most wanted and did not win, I am glad that Foxy received at least one prize, even without her being here. And with your leave, I'll be a bad loser. I think I lost because the vote was taken before I finished Untie My Silence Knot ... I find that story sensational because of the last chapter and it's difficult to judge the quality before the end. But I am happy to have lost, because if there is one thing that motivates me a lot it is defeat ... I hope to create something of interest next year, and I hope that there are competitors here to write creative things so that we can compete next year. Regarding the banner with lemons, I really enjoyed it !! Thank you! I found it very appropriate in many ways, in addition to being very beautiful. It will be great to have such a talented artist as a companion during the quarantine. Congratulations Sherry Ann! (great speech Anka)

Art is undeniably something powerful, something that can bring people together. I myself discovered this forum in 2009 through the fan arts posted by members who are now long-gone. tk - the Penthouse used to be a chatroom, which has now been usurped by the shout box. I'm not sure that's entirely right - they carried on side by side for a while, as they served different purposes. I think the penthouse dried up in the end because there was hardly anyone here. Now that the place is filling up perhaps we should try it again. |
