Thank you for organizing, Hermes! Most well done. Esmé's meme is meh, it looks like someone took your idea for Tragedy's banner.

I can only thank you for existing and accepting me so well. You have helped me a lot in many ways. I wish I had met Linda, and it's nice that a lot of what she wrote is on this forum. I believe that what we write portrays our identity much better than photographs. The photographs show who we are on the outside, but what we write shows our personality. And for me, receiving an award that bears her name has a meaning thanks for all the awards, for all the banners. For all the speeches. I learned to make banners because of you, thanks for that too.

After seeing Willis's excellent new lamp, it occurs to me that perhaps we should post screenshots of the winning Profile Decorations for posterity. (Maybe these should be included in their nominations next year, too?)

That was a great awards show! A big thanks to Germes, to the presenters and bannermakers and to resident statistician Mister M. Your statistics for each award is helping me to understand what it is sports fans are getting from commentators. Zort, your words for absent members (a category I myself am missing more narrowly each year) were touching, most of all those for Linda. I hope those who knew and love her in real life are able to read your speech. And thanks Terry, for that speech, and Sherry Ann for the banner, and to everyone who voted for me as Funniest Member! It's a great honour for me that you guys think I'm funny, though I have to admit that it's a lot easier to keep up a standard of amusingness when I only make ~4 posts a year But seriously, I'm honestly amazed that so many of you decided to vote for me in that category, and I'm taking it as a sincere compliment. Other than that, congratulations to everyone who won a Germie! It's all well-deserved!

jeanlucio has dominated this years Germies, so it's only fitting that we end with yet another award for him. For yes, he is our winner for this year (suspense killed.) His unqiue style and long ranging theories have definitley earned him notoriety (for which he won the award last year), but he has also won Best Pairing (acknowleding his rivalry/romance with Dante), and two nods for Best Volunteer, acknowledging his continuing committment to the snicket side of this forum. He has been a stern compatriot in the neverendign war of guys v girls, cheerful observor at zoom hangouts, and general all round good egg. Congratulations on what i'm sure is the latest in many more awards. Jean Lucio is the 15th person to win this award. And he won't be the last. 667 lives on. It's up to us what we make of it. Should I have received a banner for this too?

Oh welp I didn't get any awards this year but at least got third on votes!
Congratulations Hermes for all your hard work on these awards, congratulations to everyone who helped to make this happen (especially Sherry Ann) and to the winners! It's been a really fun ceremony and can't wait to win all the awards next year

Thank you! This banner is excellent! Who did it? And I want to know the number of votes for each of the best creative writing texts. (I know, I remained a bad loser).

A big thank you to Germes from me as well, for indeed being Best Organizer. (Also, congarats on Most Compassionate--you had my vote.) And a thank you to everyone who participated, especially those who delivered some wonderful speeches. Oh, and congarats to Optimism is my Phil-osophy for the Linda Award; the bannermaker was me, so I'm glad you like it! ((I sent it to MisterM in time before his speech, so its initial exclusion was not my fault.)) Likewise, thank you for the charming BPD banner you've made.

Congratulations to all the winners! And a big thank you to Hermes for organising the awards this year - I'm happy that I get to participate this year, as I've missed the majority of the previous awards.
Here's hoping the tradition lives on for another year.

Congratulations Germes fro your award, and thanks to those who voted me for something I didn't actually do, since B. was the one behind the Zoom meetings lol Anyway I'm here to present the next award, one that's certainly interesting (at least for me): Most Notorious. This award goes to a person who has been notable for some negative quality over the past year. There are many possible interpretations, so let's check our nominees and see why they should get this award: First, we have TheAsh , who just today won Best New Member. I really don't think there's anything negative about them other than the weird name. Next up, we have someone who gets nominated a lot for this category: our favorite grumpy and sour Reba . It's certainly amazing how he grows older every year but still behaves like a 15 y.o. We also have jeanlucio . Some people think his theories and his compulsive posting is notorious, but I think he's a pretty cool guy. Probably the most notorious thing he did is nominating himself and also TheAsh who did nothing notorious to be honest. Finally, we have the very creator of this forum: Hermedy . Though he didn't post in a long, LONG time, he, like God, is still present in some mysterious and pranky ways. We owe him for @germes new name, and also for our beautiful signatures! Anyway, the winner is... ... ... ... ... ...Not TheAsh of course, no one voted for them, why would they? ... ... ... ... ...Not Jean Lucio either, he got three votes. Probably bear, himself and himself with one of his fake accounts voted for him. ... ... ...Not Bear either, surprisingly. Only two votes this year, sorry buddy, keep being an asshole and maybe next year! ... ... Why do you keep opening these it's obvious the winner is Tragedy with 9 votes what a treacherous guy Ok, that made me laugh.

My congratulations to everyone, both the winners and the presenters! All my apologies for having been so late to finish and deliver my Best Thread banner(s), which Hermes will be unveiling any moment now. Unless he's spirited them away to France to sell them on the black market for the masterpieces they obviously are. (Or not.)
