So, in addition to being able to see the live results, you may also post your reasons for choosing either Banner 2 or Banner 7. Other voters may use these reasons (or not) to help them decide. I was also surprised the current banner became a final contender, though for my own part I did end up liking its simplicity and how it fit in with the black-and-white theme.
Ultimately, though, my vote goes to the Averse Silhouettes for its clever and aesthetically pleasing integration of both Snicket series.

I believe that these two are indeed the best, and it is good to see that my opinion is on the side of the majority, which happens infrequently.

Also, members are reminded that voting multiple times with other accounts is not good practice
(and also a bit sad.)

The tan banner could be put in black and white with a filter, to better align with the theme? I was also surprised the current banner became a final contender, though for my own part I did end up liking its simplicity and how it fit in with the black-and-white theme. Ultimately, though, my vote goes to the Averse Silhouettes for its clever and aesthetically pleasing integration of both Snicket series.

I also liked the "White" banner in the last round and think it would make a great award banner or similar. It's just a bit too busy for being a site header.

Well, I feel a little ridiculous posting this reminder, but if you'd like to add your vote to the currently unanimous chorus and / or rage against the man, you have two days to do so.

It's also theoretically possible for nine of the present voters to suddenly decide to switch choices.

And in a shocking turn of events, "Silouettes" by Poe's Coats Host Toast takes the lead! Let's thank him for all the time and talent he poured into this design. Also, um, I can't figure out how to change it. Hermedy can you help? We've got two sizes to try out here and here; not sure which will work better.

Mine also; I didn't notice it doing so before, though of course that doesn't mean it didn't. It only displays correctly if I zoom out past what my browser describes as actual size.
