I came across an interview from around the time The End was published and found this to be interesting:
Interestingly, one of Mr. Handler's planned projects, still in the discussion stage, is a book co-written with a religious fundamentalist in which the two authors ask each other questions about faith. "It's fascinating to me," he said.
Does anyone know what became of this project?

A link to the interview in question for anyone searching for context. Interesting find. I don't know of any Handler's published work that fits that description (though in searching I did find this short interview Handler gave about Jewish themes in the Netflix series - I'm sure everyone's already read it, but was news for me). Handler's given a number of interviews on religion, but beyond How to Dress for Every Occasion I don't know of any works he's published explicitly on the topic.

Well, there's also his contribution to the Haggadah.

Thanks, Sherry Ann, apologies for not initially providing the link. I hope that this will one day this will see the light of day, as I would be curious to see a deeper dissection of his thoughts on religion. Perhaps he will talk more about them in his memoir too.
