#1 - Ants Under A Magnifying Glass
"Freak!" "One eyebrow!" "Go back to your country!"
These were the usual playground insults young Olaf would hear whenever other kids were around. Normally this would've upset him upon hearing this, but he learned that crying or telling his parents would only further worsen the scenario. Not that his parents already knew about it helped much. He didn't tell them, but the bruise marks, bloody nose and black eyes gave it away. When they asked what happened, he would come up with excuse for them like "I slipped and fell from the monkey bars" or "I tripped and landed face first on the sidewalk".
Of course they never believed him. They didn't much to help the situation either. His parents weren't negligent, but they were very busy people. Olaf's family was the City's fourth most important financial advisers and as so they would socialise with other people of high status a lot more than their son. That didn't mean they spent all their time without him. His father would teach him coding and geography in his spare time. Him and his mother would plant raspberry seeds in their backyard walk through garden together.
On his birthdays and Christmas, they would have all their relatives come and celebrate. He would receive many expensive and large gifts that got bigger year after year. His favourite thing to do together with them was when they take him to see the opera. The first opera he ever saw was Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin when he was five. Since then Olaf wanted to become a world famous actor. Both his parents were happy to oblige to his dream. Mother made his costumes and Father helped him practice his acting skills.
Sometimes he would perform for them specially, he always received a big round of applause from them. One thing he learned from his father was that an actor's greatest challenge was dealing with hecklers. Hecklers who would often taunt him and ruin the performance at their own expense. So that the actor would forget his lines or slip up. His father told him:
"If you ever encounter a heckler young Olaf, the key is to ignore them. They want to see you fail onstage. But you mustn't let them discourage you. Just keep performing. They may boo you, throw food at you or even call you terrible names, but you mustn't give the satisfaction. Just keep preforming my boy and they will never win."
Taking his father's words of wisdom, Olaf applied the same thing to his tormentors. Everyday when the chauffeur would drop him off at the park, he ignored their cruel words and kept his head down. Hecklers and bullies are all the same. He thought. Just keep preforming. He made his way to the sandbox, which many kids didn't play in due to an ant hill inside. Just the way he liked it.

I like the Fanfics that show the origin of Olaf. It is interesting to know that you imagine that his parents were also actors and cheered for him. But he apparently made people angry because of bullying. Bullying is really harmful. We are all changed by this. Some learn positive strategies for dealing with this, others develop personality deviations. Others even commit suicide or become violent. And others become bullies themselves.

Kneeling down on the wet grass, Olaf pulled out a magnifying glass from his right pocket. The magnifying glass was a antique that his father won in an auction, it was said to belong to a very famous detective known for his abilities to solve any crime using the simplest of clues. His father kept it locked in his desk in his personal study, which he was forbidden to enter under any circumstance. That didn't stop him from breaking in and taking it without getting caught.
He held the glass up to where the sun and watched as the small beam of sunlight torched the insect's backs. The ants scurried away from light. Olaf smiled, eyes completely transfixed on the sight of the burning bugs. Sometimes he would imagine that the ants were the bullies and he was a giant one eyed Goliath. He would often lose focus of time and you become lost in his own world.
"You shouldn't be doing that."
Olaf's concentration was broken by an unknown voice. He looks behind him and sees a young girl. She was roughly around his age, had dark orange brown hair, hazel eye colour with a pair of oval shaped glasses. Dressed in light blue overall shorts and a light yellow white collard t-shirt. "She looks kinda cute." He shook his head, where did that come from? Realising he was starring at her, he regained his senses.
"What did you say?" He asked, trying to mask his Swedish accent.
"I said, you shouldn't set ants on fire." She said.
His eyebrow raised up on one side. "Why?"
