I'm not sure I can burn this seeing as we do not yet know much about 'Poison for Breakfast'. It may very well be about the past, but knowing this universe, could also contain hints into the future. I remain speculative, will jot it on a gum wrapper for now.
A very foolish deliberation has struck me: Bertrand might have been afraid of bats?

Sorry, I have to burn it ...
Captain W left the submarine along with Phil and the unknown woman hitchhiking in the mouth of a gigantic question mark-shaped animal that was extremely fast (which was an animal trained by VFD), and so the group managed to get to the coast very quickly, faster than the Baudelaires.

(Roxy222, it’s a music box version of the theme, and because of the constraints of a music box, songs are often sped up/condensed to fit in a small space. I don’t want you to be cold, though, so your reasoning is still very strong.)
I’m going to have to burn this one, unless some evidence/reasoning is given.
Justice Strauss is actually a disguise, as the VFD Disguise Kit suggests.
