I especially recommend the Proverbs and Ecclesiastes books. Many who have never read the Bible are surprised by these biblical books. They are among my favorites. I'm currently reading Blink - The Power of Thinking Without Thinking . (Molcom Gladwell) I think he's in the transition between a fish psychology book and a self-help book. But personally, this book has opened my eyes to prejudice, which can actually be much deeper in myself than I thought. Being aware of this helped me. I highly recommend it.
