Has anyone watched Dash & Lily?
I did not watched it yet. But I heard good reviews. Has anyone here seen and would like to say what you think?
(I'm watching Columbo right now, but my wife has lost interest because each episode is too big. So if there's something she likes at the same time, it would be nice to watch. Something light and romantic would be a good choice.)

I've seen it! As I'm sure you're already aware, both Joe Tracz and Brad Silberling worked on the show, so I was already interested. I personally enjoyed it -- it's witty and unabashedly cheery (most of the time). It is indeed light and romantic, and the episodes are nice and short (22 to 28 minutes apiece), but there's a few twists and turns to keep things interesting. Obviously you know your wife better than I, but it comes highly recommended from me.

Thanks for watching, urbanletteropener! The show was indeed an unlikely Snicket reunion, as Brad directed the first two episodes, and even recreated a certain shot of books popping off a shelf that fans of the film will recognize (and which I was excited to learn we pulled off in the exact same way).
Daniel even visited us when we were filming at the Strand bookstore, which led to a Snicket cameo that I don't think anyone has caught yet, featuring a fictional book title that he gamely suggested.
As a holiday rom-com, the show is very different tonally from the world of ASOUE, but I'd like to think it shares a fondness for literary references and a certain persnickety bookishness.

howdy joe !!! the show is very wholesome and it's super cute !!!!! my friend read the books and recommended the show to me. i binged watched it all in a day in november and made me self aware of how single i am, unfortunately. i think it was dashingly well written and the casting was lovely. now that i know there's a snicket cameo i need to rewatch. there are 3 books, i believe the show merged the first two, but hopefully there's enough traction for a second season : )

I saw a trailer for this, but had no idea there was an ASOUE connection!
