Attention humans,
For an idea of what might be expected, feel free to look through the awards ceremonies for the 2019 Zorties and the 2020 Germies.
Presentations are highly free-form and can be as short or as long as you like, so long as they discuss the award in question and announce the victor. Ideally, presentations for an award will not be given by one of the nominees for that award, but the rules are very flexible.
Voting results will be sent in utmost secrecy to all presenters and artists on the 25th, giving you roughly a week to create your presentation or banner; though you are welcome and indeed encouraged to consider making a start beforehand. You may present multiple awards or, more likely, make multiple banners if you so wish, and are expected to deliver them during the period of the awards ceremony.
If you wish to present an award or design a banner for the Dantes, please post here and say so, or PM me, Dante. Make sure to tell me if you have a preference for (or against) a particular award. Don't be shy; presenters and artists of all levels of ability are welcome, no matter how long you have been here on the forum!
Edit: All slots for artists have now been taken. Thank you to all who volunteered. Potential presenters are still encouraged to sign up!
Edit Again: The open call has now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated.
The Dantes need you! Every 667 awards season is a collaborative event, and your contribution is never more needed than now. For the awards ceremony, running Thursday April 1st through Saturday April 3rd, each award will need two things:
- A presenter to hand each victor their award, usually accompanied by a short speech;
- An accompanying banner made by one of our artists.

Banners have slightly more requirements, and should include:
- Some variation on the words "Dante Awards 2021" (2021 Dantes, etc.)
- The name of the award in question (Best Thread, Dante Award for Best Volunteer, etc.)
- The name of the winner (to be delivered on the 25th)
- A design relating to Lemony Snicket or 667 Dark Avenue
- Be a good size to fit in a person's signature, and probably no larger than, let's say 667x400 pixels.
