I honestly can't tell whether Sherry Ann or Dante wrote the introductory speech, and that is a compliment to both! 667er: And Jean?Um, he got eaten by a bear. Its what he would have wanted. ew great speech, tho, m! Congrats to Willis! The past year I took it easy on the profile deco'ing, so I'm happy the award is going to the person who I won last year's Best Profile Deco award with. And congratulations to Roxy, the only real candidate for Most Notorious this year! This is shaping up to be an exciting award ceremony!

And who is the user you tagged, because it isn't Willis's current account I have already corrected ... WW is named jacobm. The most notorious R. Banner looks really cool, and matching with her other banner. I also think it was a well-deserved award. I really found Isadora Is a Door 's speech very funny. And that stone really did have a meaning that few people will understand. And of course, I didn't really die ... I will do a thread explaining better about it. What is the picture in the banner? I hope you're asking this because you haven't read the Isadora Is a Door Fanfic and not because my art is really incomprehensible ... This is supposed to be Esmé sitting in an armchair that has the characteristics of the Great Unknown (or BB). On the floor there is a stain of black paint spreading. According to R.'s interpretation of what happens on the MisterM Fanfic, I believe that this scene matches the Best profile. I hope @jacobm liked it.

Congrats @jacobm on your profile, and roxy on your notoriety (if that is indeed what you have won). I think this is the first time the award has been won for in-story villainy - there was once a nominee who wanted to win in that way, but it did not turn out like that at all. Mister M for Best Writing next time? (Actually I don't think anyone ever has won Best Writing for an award presentation, but some are definitely deserving of it.) I sort of understand what is going on. except to the extent to which I don't.

Today I am here to present the Dante Rubens memorial award for Best Writing. Though best known as a Snicketologist, our departed colleague was also an outstanding writer, both of Snicketfic and (in the remoter past) 667fic, and so this award forms an appropriate part of this, his memorial event. I now have to work out who has won the award. the panopticountolaf is nominated for the first scene of The Ropy Rewrite, a new and distinctive dramatization of ASOUE. Sadly, he has warned us not to read this work, so I must conclude that it will not have received any votes. Reba is nominated for a poem on the subject of Lemony’s Chimney. Despite the brilliance of this poem, it seems likely that 667ers are not capable of appreciating its greatness, and so it probably did not receive more than one vote. Optimism is my Phil-osophy is nominated for Matt Litory and the Multiple Intelligences. Though in many ways it reflects the spirit of Snicket, it is a work of original fiction, possibly the most substantial such work ever published at 667, and we look forward to seeing it commercially published in future (just as ASOUE was at first printed privately and distributed through VFD libraries before – but I digress). I fear, though, that 667ers have been too busy of late to read this work as a whole, so I estimate that it received no more than two votes. Isadora Is a Door is nominated for Black Ink, a complex science-fictional/fantastic/philosophical work set in Lemony’s universe (while drawing on other sources, including Doctor Who. Did anyone else see the Doctor Who reference?). Unfortunately, this impressive work was not completed until after the closing date for voting, so it is unlikely to have received more than three votes. Finally, Christmas Chief is nominated for The Mystery of the Missing 667ers: A Christmas Story, the first new 667fic for some time, and the first to feature the new generation. This work features splendid portraits of the 667 community, including a suitably villainous Tragedy and SPOILER, and an excessively flattering picture of me. A simple calculation enables me to determine that it has received eleven votes, and so gains an overwhelming victory. Congratulations home-slice! Here is your victor’s banner, by Poe's Coats Host Toast . (Bother – if I had looked at this earlier, it would have been easier to find out who had won.)

Thank you for this honor, 667! The story never could have existed without your lively and lovely personalities. I enjoyed your deductions and explanations, Hermes. And much thanks to Poe's Coats Host Toast for the banner.

There's something about this that I'm starting to find disturbing. Probs the fact that Dante isn't here for the awards he organised Congratulations, home-slice.

Hey, congrats, Sherry Ann! It's all I can do to not freak out right now — the awards have always seemed like one of the coolest and most unique things about 667, and to be a part of them this year is really exciting.

Another was Roxy; No votes came her way Despite that good tactics Go into her play. Among the best gamers I too was so named. But no votes got I; I too was out-gamed For one of these gamers Stood out from the rest His vic’try well-earned, His triumphs well-blessed. No, it’s not Dante , Though two votes he got For spying in Spyfall With uncanny forethought. Yes, our victor is Optimism is my Phil-osophy ! Who wouldn’t have guessed? Twelve votes overwhelmingly Prove him the best. And as part of your prize I’ve written a verse In a language in which I am certainly worse: Você é o melhor Jogador que temos e por isso nós te Agradecemos. Banner by bear:

Congrats Jean!
(I hope to join the games soon, now that I have more free time.)
I'm thinking we should perhaps revive the Best Award Presentation award this year.
