I never tried these til recently (bc not American), but omg I'm actually obsessed
I've tried the cinnamon sugar ones, the strawberry ones, the wild blueberry, and the red velvet. Which other flavours do you recommend?

Anyway, I actually managed to source some Wild Berry ones (@jacobm) and some cookies and cream flavour ( Christmas Chief). Will try and post a review over the weekend hopefully! |

Okay I have a review (not that anyone cares, but lmk if you've tried any of these flavours and what you think.) I managed to source some Frosted Cinnamon Roll ones in Glasgow yesterday (they were only £3 which I was actually surprised at) so I gave them a go as I'd already tried the cinnamon sugar pretzel and frosted brown sugar cinnamon. I tried one last night, and one of the wild berry ones.  Thoughts: Cinnamon roll: Not as nice as I thought it would be, as I loved the other two cinnamon flavours. I thought this would be similar, but it somehow managed to be distinctly different in a way I can't really explain. Had a strange artificial aftertaste. It was also very chewy, which I liked. The frosting was weird and kept breaking off. It also bent/deformed slightly in my toaster. However, it was obviously at its core still basically just sugar and artificial sweeteners, so 7/10 Wildberry: Willis you did not disappoint on this recommendation! I really like the fruit flavours, and this one was no different. It was warm and comforting. The frosting was sweet and balanced nicely with the tangy/slightly sour flavour of the filling. Would definitely buy again and eat a lot more of these. 9/10. I'll review some others sometime soon. Bee over and out. what am I doing with my life |

I have never tried them because I don't think I knew they existed for most of my life. I'm not sure if I would like them because American food often tastes too sweet and too artificial for me, but at the same time I'm a little worried that I would like them because there is already enough unhealthy food that I like.

So today I, an adult with a job and a mortgage, ate pop tarts for breakfast. FFS.  These are the cookies and cream flavour I bought. Normally, I wouldn't naturally go for chocolatey flavours and I was a bit skeptical of these (they also deformed a bit in the toaster). I ate them warm. They basically reminded me of Oreos, and were very comforting on a rainy Tuesday morning. I would rate them a solid 7.5/10, but probably wouldn't buy them again just because they were hard to find. Shout out to Christmas Chief for the recommendation. |
