Hallo everyone, I am indeed back (without a vengeance. Just back.), and while I sort of abandoned my old ASOUE illustration project because I don't really like my old drawings, I do have a few new ones! When I say a few, I really do only mean a very few. Four, to be exact. Three locations and one character drawing. I hope you like them! First up, The Baudelaire Mansion: A Triptych.
Second: Uncle Monty's house
Third: the incredibly safe structure t
[/span][/div]This is phenomenal, indescribably magnificent! I'm speechless, or maybe too wordy....This art is incredibly good. I can highlight how shocking the mansion fire is... and the giant snakes... Did you draw this using digital techniques or just paper, pen and pencil?

Thank you for thinking of the members here and taking the time to share these. The textures on the Baudelaire Mansion (first panel) and the side of Uncle Monty's house look like they far exceed the resolution of a pencil. I'm really curious how you produced these as well!

Especially the little forked branches coming from the mouths of the hedge-snakes. And the wiggly snake vane.

I was hoping you would say very few drawings. These are incredible, I always like the dotted affect(like the hedges at Monty's house). If I ever publish my works, when I'm older of course, I'll be sure contact you. What a missed opportunity, I should definitely have said that! And thank you! I'm very flattered -- and if you ever publish anything, I'd be delighted to work with you on it, I'm sure.

Thanks so much everyone! You're all very kind. In answer to Optimism is my Phil-osophy and jackson, they're entirely drawn in pen. I do sketch them out in pencil first, but that's all rubbed out as soon as I've got the outlines inked in and then I proceed to add all the detailing and shading in ink.

Holy wow! It's great to meet you, Violent BUN Fortuna — I remember looking at your older drawings for what felt like hours as a goggle-eyed fourteen-year-old, and these drawings are beyond amazing. I love the cliffside that Josephine's house rests on and ESPECIALLY Violet, the shading on her face is phenomenal. When does the multi-book deal with a famous author come?

Great to meet you, too, urbanletteropener! That's so kind of you -- I'm so glad you like the drawing of Violet, it was only small but I'm fond of it, and it's probably my favourite attempt I've made at capturing her face on paper. Haha, not yet, but I'll be sure to let everyone know when I capture said famous author and force them to let me illustrate their books. That said, I did have the Baudelaire mansion triptych published in a magazine not long ago, which was such fun (it was just called 'The Fire' in the magazine).

Thank you! Could you tell us the name of the magazine? Of course -- it's called En Bloc, it's a new literary & arts magazine. They sell prints of all the artwork featured, too, which is really cool. The best part was that they distribute to actual shops so I was able to find a copy in WH Smith, which was really fun.
