Poison For Breakfast, the long awaited Lemony Snicket book. This is not a book that focuses heavily on already established lore, but there are a few nods that fans will notice. There isn't a great deal of dialogue in this book either, most of it is in Lemony's subconscious. Surprisingly, this method was used perfectly, and fit the tone very well. There is a strange joy in reading a book about a man going about his day, with the threat of dying soon. Every Snicket book has had a different art style, and some may consider this one bland. I highly disagree, these illustrations by Marguix Kent look very close to home, and I think that fits the whole narrative.
