I own a lot and I take a lot of pleasure in my collection. I shall gather them together and take a photo later (but I’m letting you all know about it in advance as an extra post to get us closer to 1 million).

Most recent acquisition is a Max Beckmann monograph by Taschen. (I also acquired a huge-ass Winsor McKay's Little Nemo book, but I guess that's a comic strip collection, or does it count as an art book as well?) Another recent one - bought used - is "Techniques of the Great Masters of Art" (Chartwell Books) which explains a bit how specific paintings were (probably) made - but the best thing about it is actual size details of the paintings.
Perhaps my favorite art book I own is a large size Magritte monograph (ed. Siegfried Gohr. Dumont).

my favorite of my art books is a collection of Goya's drawings from the Prado. it has a great introduction by André Malraux, one of my favorite writers on art. his masterpiece, La psychologie de l'art, is in english as The Voices of Silence.
the most niche of my art books is a thing i found called Primitive Erotic Art, with pictures of extremely naughty figurines from the stone age as well as pre-colonial america, africa, etc. some of that stuff makes the Venus of Willendorf look like a vestal virgin.

Perhaps my favorite art book I own is a large size Magritte monograph (ed. Siegfried Gohr. Dumont). Jealousss do you know if it has the Voice of Space variations?? Sorry, I was meaning to check and then forgot, but after leafing through I found I think one of the versions, called "Les fleurs de l'abime II" from 1928. (Also if you thought about getting the book, you should know it's in German. Wonderful printing of the pictures, though.) That's the one: I also really like the book's cover under the dust jacket: And here's the two largest art books I own; hand for size reference:
